The bigger issue is HOW did we lose to Philly? They are an absolute train wreck offensively and defensively

Well a terrible OPI call had a lot to do with the loss. Not to mention that even though Vick threw 2 picks, he still completed over 70 percent of his passes for 370 yards, and had his only rushing TD of the season against us.

When I look at stats like these, it seriously makes me question.

26th in total defense. 28th against the run, and 22nd against the pass.

19th in total offense. 16th in rushing, and 15th in passing.

Because we W.I.N. those games.

I'll I have to say is we are about to find out what type of team we are because the harder stretch is coming and it's either going elevate us or its about to get very ugly.

Partially it's because we score a TD on 62.5% of red zone trips, which is sixth in the league, and allow one on only 39.39% of opponent red zone trips, which is third in the league. That kind of red zone ability is pretty valuable, and we saw the value this week in Cleveland where we held them to five field goals and kept them out of the end zone, while making the most of our own, admittedly far too few, opportunities in the red zone. The defense bends but doesn't break, so who cares about yardage? The game is won and lost on scoring.

Believe me, you should care. Yardage = Time of Possession. Yardage = A Defense that spends too much time on the field. Yardage = Bad Field Position. BdB defenses suck in the playoffs. I would, however, expect a Ravens defense to play its best games in the post season.

I'll take wins over talents any times. However, it does take talent to win the game.

Look at the Eagles, they are filled with so much talent, yet looks like mess.

We're averaging 24 points per game, and our opponents are averaging 22 points per game against us, that equals wins.

Take away the houston game and we're averaging 26 vs 19

We were lucky a few times, skill of individual players helped, screw ups on the opposition helped, and we did have a few rays of utter greatness on a couple of occasions. We are getting to the tougher part of our schedule, but we did looked a little bit better in the Browns game. If we improve again in the Raiders game it will only help the team confidence (and my fingernails) going forward.

A ridiculous PI call nullifying what probably would have been the GW TD had a lot to do with it.

Another reason we lost to them outside of the obvious which is the 4 bench players starting on their offensive line is we didn't stick with the run and Pees gave Vick too much respect with the conservative play calling. Teams are coming after Vick making him make decisions on the fly with man to man coverage to follow meaning Vick throws will have to be more precise. I'm just curious going forward to see how Pees gameplans against RG3. I know RG3 can read defenses way better than Vick can with better accuracy but when facing a scrambler, do you try to sit back in a zone and keep everything in front of you with limitted blitzing or do you go after a scrambler?

The Ravens have won 6 games because the Ravens are a good team. You can say what you want about their O-line, D-line, Flacco, The coaches, etc... but what it boils down to is we have what it takes to win games. We may not be at our best this season that we've seen before but clearly our worst seems to be cutting it against the other teams. Good teams win games even at their worst.
