I still don't think he is worth more than the 3 yr / 15M extension the Ravens tried to offer him this past offseason. I'm glad he is as greedy with INT's as he is with his wallet.

should have taken the $$ Cary. Ravens aren't giving you Webb Money unless you can start to shut down the drive extending catches on your side of the field.

It was a sensational INT - even with what he did after the catch: the golde rule with an INT return is to head for the sideline and try to carry it as far as he can there - not to start running in every direction :D Poor Cary, had to run like 60 yards to make it a 26 yard return - but he did it and that's what counts.

Maybe Jimmy will catch the interception bug soon...

Well, he's already had 3 last season...

"Last season" being the operative words. Jimmy's done less than Cary this season.

I have seen Carey play shut down corner, then I have seen him get burned real bad, then.... catch an interception. All in the same drive!!

LOL sometimes it's confusing how to feel about his play....I just wish he would calm down and play ball like he is obviously capable of doing.... all the time!

Lock it down Carey! GO RAVENS!

Cary gaining more leverage day by day. He'll probably wind up closer to $20M when all is said and done. I dont see them paying him much more than that since he is hardly shutdown in the way Webb was becoming. BUT other teams will be glad to overpay for him so you gotta at least be competitive. CBs are a commodity, Raven defenders as well. a starting Raven CB is a huge commodity.

I thought when Cary started running the wrong way our own players were considering tackleing him.

I am tired of all this politically correct, positive answers we are being fed. I am tired of hearing we are 6 and 2 and that a win is a win. First and foremost, come the end of the season our DC needs to be given his walking papers. We are grateful for his services but he gotta go. Second,.. our defensive back coach needs to be given his walking papers also. We are grateful for his services but he gats to go. Third, we are grateful for Camron's services but go be bipolar somewhere else. He has no feel for the game. I refuse to believe that Matt Ryan is better that Flacco with no playoff wins but look at him (7 n 0) Finally.. Biscotti needs to start spending money in Free Agency and needs to be more aggressive in the draft. Yes we get some late round pick to turn out good but... we need to win a Super Bowl. Anything other than that it a failed season. So please stop with the positive comments. Yes I sound very negative.. I know... but this needs to be said.

EwholoJeroro- Yea we should blow up the whole coaching staff and have a major turnover of the roster.. SMH, get real this team is a constant AFC power fighting for a SB every year, I pay tons of money for my PSL's, season tickets and parking pass every home game, trust me no one wants to see another SB more then me, But this is the NFL and the parody in this league is what makes it so exciting. So all i can ask for every year is the Ravens make the playoffs and give us a chance at a SB. A win is a Win no matter how you get it, Harbs knows they have to work to do to make another SB run and get back to the AFCCG for the 3rd time. But its getting really old hearing fans crying and complaining after a W. Go root for the browns or Raiders or a team that hasnt been relevant for years.

Does anyone find it really intriguing that Cary Williams always seems to get burned for a good while in a game, and then make an INT, thereby making it harder to bash him?

its actually not hard to bash him.. he sucks, he knows it, you know it, harbs knows it, pees knows it, his agent knows it, his fam knows it, i know it, everyone knows it. We better not resign him for a penny more than we offered that clown prior to the start of the season. He gets lucky. Sometimes its better to be luck rather than good. but that won't hold up. This defense is a joke right now. And a lucky Cary williams INT won't save our season

It sure is a good thing that he's getting these INT's... Because otherwise, he's being torched by every other receiver on every other team... What is it with our Corners... Are they being coached into covering this way??????

jimmy smith is one more bad play from being deemed a bust. that dude is just bad and claims he is getting better. How are you suppose to be shutdown, yet you can't beat out Cary Williams whose first INT of his career came this yr. And almost all of his INTs are a result of being in the wrong spot at the right time.

But he's had 4 INTs, and taken one back for a TD. Things like that always impress me no matter what player it is, but his regular coverage is just bad. Has Chykie Brown taken any defensive snaps? Corey Graham? Asa Jackson? Christian Thompson? The latter 2 have to be better than Williams' coverage.

@TheRavensgers Corey Graham is the nickel corner (#3) Chykie doesnt get much time & Asa hasnt been activated on gameday yet. Christian is a safety so wont get any time

Everyone's gotta give jimmy smith a break. Everyone was hating on Webb during his second year especially when he let up that pass against Pitt. Now look at him. If it weren't for injuries he would prob be in the conversation for the top 3 corners in the nfl. Jimmy smiths still young and he has potential. He flashed it last year. He just needs more experience

@EwholoJeroro - You hit the nail on the head... all of you enablers who act like we should be "happy" just to be in the hunt year after year is sickenning. I am a die hard Ravens fan but i refuse to be that "Enabler" just supporting EVERYTHING good or bad. We won, yes but we are not doing the things coaching wise that need to be done to win it all... A blind person can see that.. is us "Being close" every year supposed to be reason not to "shake things up"? Hardly... I'd Rather our FO and coaching staff go out there and take some risks (Ala the Falcons trading away their draft to get Julio, or Firing our Cam "Bi-polar" Cameron) to get the rewards that we seek and take an L or 2 then sit around and ccelebrate mediocrity.... this "Oh well we'll get to the playoffs anyway-Eagles-like" mentality starts from the top down and needs to be put out there.. not this politically correct, scared to take a chance-mantra we have now..

@riseNConquer81 You basically are saying 'do nothing'. Lets just shut up and watch our team crash and burn. So let me know.. when do you think is the best time to start 'Whining'?....when we start taking last place in AFC North? It's just like saying come election day don't vote cause it does nothing. Now if you are saying that I am saying something they already know...then that's something else. But they tell Raven fans to just shut up and not express their opinions cos if this keeps up we will go back to the Kyle Boller years. I don't know about you but I do not want that.

NO, actually im basically saying have your opinion if you want to, but dont run around acting like other fans, who arent cynical donkey rears, are doing somebody a disservice by appreciating all the successes the team has and brings to the city. say something football relevant and leave it at that.

The only team in the league that is owned by its city is the Packers...so unless you became a recent Wisconsin resident, you sound dumb attacking all the supposed "enablers" (as you call them) since they have the same amount of actual influence on the team that you do: absolute zero.

The Chiefs just waived Standford Routt. As a guy who thinks CB is a thin position for us, i think we should take a hard look at him. I mean he has been a pretty bad CB this year, but nobody stands out on a team that bad. I just think he's better then the options we have now. Interested in responses from other fans about this one.

I feel really over the top great about our team now that I've just had some of what John Harbaugh smokes. I can just go on and on. You gotta remember that we beat a superbly talented team in the Browns. They are a powerhouse to be reckoned with. You have to love the play of our talented corners and how our coaches game planned to overcome this AFC north juggernaut. Kudos our defense and special teams. I'm so proud of the whole team, the way they fought and prevailed. We have another monumental task going against a great Oakland Raider team at home. You have to feel confident that our elite athletes have the guts and tenacity to deliver another amazing performance and will forge ahead to victory !!!

It's good he's getting picks and all,but he still struggles to cover wide outs playing 10 to 15 yards off the receiver.wait until we play the Steelers he will be exposed for giving up so much space with the speed that they have.Don't let me get started with(double move) Jimmy Smith!

@riseNConquer81 Lets see how positive the 'enablers' will sounds after we face Ben Rot. twice, Eli and Peyton, RGIII, Rivers and Dalton. Let see how much positivity will be floating around after those games. Because I voice my dislike for the way we are playing doesn't mean I don't root for the Ravens come Sunday.

First off, Rivers scored 6 points in a loss to the Browns, we already blew Dalton out once, and RGIII just lost to the Panthers, so the tasks hardly seem herculean.

now...were you gonna say something relevant? orrrrr were you content to keep directing your anger at people that have nothing to do with the team's performance?

If it wasn't for William interception, then his performance would have stunk. The only reason he got that catch was due to the receiver going the qrong way. Not because Williams was any where NEAR the receiver ( as usual). Lucky was all he was. He still can not tackle or be tight with the receiver----always 5 yards behind. He needs to go, really! Again Ed Reed can not tackle. I give up on Reed. Harbaugh has got to open his eyes and do some yelling.

@riseNConquer81 Lets get this straight.. We beat the Browns because of the penalties that kept our last drive moving. We beat Dalton with a healthy Webb, R.Lewis, and Ngata. We have no pass rush and we are playing RGIII. Call it as it is bro. We both root for the same team. The only difference is that you refuse to see the other side of things. At least you are admitting that there is something wrong with the teams performance...and thats all I want. I want some one to say 'yes.. we see a problem and we are working to fix it'. Don't stand up there and say we should be happy we are 6 and 2 when the only team we won over .500 is the Patriots.
