Do you think Joe is feeling the pressure and it is affecting his play ?

Between the Media and Fans (Me included) bashing him daily it adds pressure that he does not need to perform ? He has mentioned that it does not bother him but i think it possibly could be and he feels the need to put up big numbers and that is not him or our offense to do that. I know it would be on my mind and it would be in my head as i play. We all rant and get upset when our team does badly and yes even a win can be frustrating as you want your team to be the best.

We all know Joe Cool has every tool to be a "Great" quarterback and want him to be his best but i think the way i rant, the media judges him and all of us as fans do have a part in this. I never gave it a thought before and as we were on the field yesterday and went 3 and out joe had missed a pass that i know he can make blind folded and wondered why he was so off. I figure between him being hard on himself, us (the fans bashing) and the media he has to feel like he needs to do so much more and then he makes mistakes because he is not playing his game.

I for one think it is a huge factor and would if possible ask to take the ranting back about him. You know how you get though when lets say you are trying to teach your kid to ride a bike and they just are not brave enough to get rid of those training wheels. You get frustrated because you just know they can do it but just need to do it at their pace and not yours. I apologize for bashing Joe and hope he starts to realize he is a great QB and to relax and play the game that fits him, i do not think a no huddle is Joe's game. He needs a good line and a few seconds to survey because he can make any pass he just needs time so he does not make those hurried passes or INT's because he was in a hurry. I think if he had a solid line his numbers would go up at a high rate.

These are just my thoughts and my may of apologizing to anyone my frustrations have bothered and do hope others read this and understand that what you say just might not be helping in any way at all.

The one weakness i do think Joe has is that he does not yet recognize and understand a defense like we used to run and makes some bad audibles but that will come in time.

From my observation, Joe will look like an elite if he uses Rice and vice versa.

So everytime we go happy passing day, Joe is always in trouble

I think it's coming when he's audibling out couple plays for Rice for big gains and the 2pt conversion for Anquan wide open....

Flacco has often made a showing of not only having 'the pulse' of what fans and media are saying, but also making fun of it. If he's 'feeling the pressure', then he's doing it in a good way. I think actual games cause more pressure to him and the team overall than anything us idiot fans and the idiot media say. If that were the case, he would never be where he is today and would never have turned in some of the downright impressive performances he has.

'But that will come in time'...its his 5th year. So the time will come on his 6th year? 7th?

He needs to show his stuff now. Well he did. And its not pretty.

Back to run first offense. That is our way of playing our game.

Flacco needs alot of help in order for him to pass great, which are: Run first game that opens up alot of passing opportunity. No pressure on QB. And Defense playing great.

He can't beat any NFL team with his passing attack. He just cant. Every time we try to get pass happy it fails miserably.

It is what it is. Some very few team in NFL gets lucky and get that 'elite' QB once in a decade. We just havent been that lucky.
But what we do have is a good QB. I'll take that.

I think we need to accept that Joe is a 150 yrds per game QB. More than that is gravy..If the coaches accept and realize it then they can build a pass scheme and running game that will compliment it.
I hate to see these rookies doing better than him though..really.

O yea, it affects him. Just the fact that he says it doesn't affect him is proof that it does. Because if it really didn't than he wouldn't mention it.

Though I'm not going to say that it affects him negatively. It keeps him motivated.

I think he laughs all the way to the bank. You can not be thin skinned and play QB ala Vince Young and Cam Newton. Joe is a really good QB and he knows it, I surely would not want him thinking he is Stoney Case. I also really hope NONE of the players read these forums because at one time they have all been dogged here.
I feel bad for the family's and friends that read the forums .

I put maybe sometimes because A.RODGERS gets affected when people say things.

QBs are just as human as us.

Remember when he got booed at home last year with Arizona? Look how he responded to that. I think he really only cares what Ravens people think, and everyone else can go away

No.

But I bet if I was a player I would probably look around to see what people think. Hell I'd probably post in them too.

The 60 minutes thing? That made me laugh how offended he gets if you call him short.

I know right...make me sick to my stomach how could a bunch of rookies coming in just outperform our QB like that. It's so frustrating. I want Joe to succeed so bad not just for the team but for his own well being but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Joe is a GREAT QB. Not okay. Not good, but great. The problem is he isn't great all the time. He should be, and that is why I can understand people bashing him. His play can be so erratic, that it becomes frutstrating to watch. Even, if some of the comments made about him are too harsh and unfair, I got to admit it, that it was tough to see Joe look like an elite QB in the first quarter, then take "a breaK" for the next two and lead us on a scoring drive that won us the game in the last quarter.
