Is he quietly rehabbing after surgery? Is his arm movement so restricted he can't travel? Is he just choosing to stay out of sight?
I haven't seen him on the sidelines being the General he is after the injury.
Just curious is all.....

I heard Marv Albert say that Ray Lewis stayed back home in Washington!
He failed geography I guess.

Rice wore Lewis’ jersey to practice on Friday, as the team has a tradition of mixing and matching jerseys among teammates.
“He told me to keep [the jersey] relevant,” Rice said. “He said I had to dress like him with the hoodie and the sweatpants. … He said, ‘Be there for me. Keep my name relevant around there. I’ll be back soon.’”
Lewis hasn’t been around the team facility since he tore his triceps on Oct. 14. I asked Rice when he thinks Lewis will return to Owings Mills, Md.
“After he’s done all his little things – he’s got to take care of himself – I’d say middle of next week,” Rice said. “Just to be back here and start rehabbing here. I’ll be excited to see him because Ray Lewis is the modern day Superman.”

Whatever the reason, I have zero problem with him not being there. It allows Suggs to emerge as the leader of the defense, which now he should be.
Suggs or Reed does need to Emerge as the on-field commander. However, Lewis on the sideline cheering them on would be huge emotional boost. Plus, Lewis can give pointers to Suggs and Reed on leadership qualities to help them out

Too soon to start rehabbing. Got to give the surgical repair a certain amount of time to heal at the cellular level before you try to strengthen it - that means at home on the couch not moving it, and not on the sideline where you run the risk of getting too worked up and accidentally busting something loose.

This is what I was thinking. Restricted movement. You know he'd be on the sidelines if he could. It must kill him to sit at home. I can't wait till he's able to make his presence felt.

He is the man - I am sure he will be there Sunday.
When Suggs wasn't playing - he was still there.
Ray will show.

Sometimes our defense just seems lost on the field.
They show players faces and there just seems to be confusion.
Ray always lined everyone up and pointed things out. Presently there is no one really doing that.
But our team will need to learn to adapt and find a new leader. Although holding the Browns to field goals all day was great!
