Cam Cameron told me: 'Joe [Flacco] did a phenomenal job of audibling to some runs and got us a couple of big runs there.'

Cam Cameron: 'You saw what [Flacco] did on the two-point conversion. That was a great call by Joe.'

I think there is more to these quotes.

Possibly trying to make it clear that Joe in fact does make audibles which is why we got away from the run/why if our offense is struggling Joe isn't making the 'great call' like he did on those plays.

Or do you really think the quotes are what the quotes are and he is just giving him props?

I don't really think there is anything to read into. I'm sure Joe audibles a lot based on what he sees. Sometimes it works, and it probably doesnt work at times.

I'm just glad he has that flexibility.

1. I don't think we ever got away from the run, it just started being less effective. I was yelling at the screen for them to run outside some more but they didn't hear me :P

2. I think that's just praise for Flacco, there's probably nothing 'hidden' under what Cameron was saying.

I'll stand alone then lol. When the offenses struggles and he get asked about it he usually makes remarks that he has faith in Joe and it comes off condescending to me..like he is implying that Joe is responsible.

[/quote]when the offense struggles he blames the players, he throws them under the us week in week out. He blatantly blamed joe in the media for abandoning the run. You just don't do that as an o cord, tell him privately.

So when he compliments someone, anyone, it's the gods honest truth imo

I'm just glad he's not throwing his quarterback under the bus in public again

He still could be.. just doing it in his condescending way.

How I read it.

"Thank God Joe slapped me on the sideline while the cameras weren't rolling. He told me if I did another GO route with Torrey Smith on 3rd and 7 he was going to kill me. So I told him do what he can do and he did. He threw the ball and let Torrey work in space thus saving my job. We have a Damn good QB in Baltimore." - Cam Cameron

I'm pretty sure it was the same run-run-pass blandness against the Raiders, that team is just terrible. And for some reason the players execute a lot better at home.
