I hope our team is not over looking the Raider's this week, I hope. We need to come out and dominate.

I think we should dominate this game, but Carson Palmer worries me a bit especially with our suspect CB play. If we can shut down their running game and get after Palmer it should be a long day for the Raiders.

I'm not really concerned about our offense in this game. I dont even think Cam can mess it up too bad in this match-up. Rice should have a big day and Joe should be able to pick apart a weak Raider secondary.

The no huddle works really well at home so I suspect Flacco to get in tune early and often. If the tackles can hold up early, I can see a lot of deep bombs like in the season opener. The Ravens has not yet shown that they are a solid SB contender and possible threat to Houston, Chicago, or Denver in the medias eyes so a blowout at home would put the rest of the league back on notice, Pit included. Expect some more production from Benard as well this game. I can see the Ravens trying to establish more on the ground and trying to incorporate the run game in the no huddle to keep on schedule. Benard showed that he has power, balance and enough speed to break the edge so in the redzone or on thrid and shorts, Bernard is a great run as well as pass option for short field yardage when Rice is recovering on the bench.

Final Score:

Baltimore: 27
Oakland: 10

I love my ravens and I always will. But guys honestly we have serious issues and its not just our defence. The main problem I can see is our O- Cordinator, he doesn't know how tools adjustments if his sorry life depended on it. Yah we won last week but if we were facing a decent quarterback or team, we would have been blown out by the time we went 3 and out six times in a row. Like I just don't know where to begin, cam Cameron is pathetic. It took him 6 drives to finally realize that he can't just keep running It on 1st down because clearly the browns started stacking the box. After 6 drives he finally called a play action. He is one of the worst coordinators I have ever seen. Same situation in the chiefs game couldn't make any adjustments and we ended up with 9 points.

Honestly, I would love to have Norv Turner as a OC(No way as a head coach). He is a horrible HC but as a OC he is really good and loves the vertical game. I would also love to have Mike Martz due to his quick time, quick ball out offense but to be honest, Cam can be just as effective, he just has to stop being so predictable.

Yes, and that "throttle down" has lost some games in the past.............our OC and DC have tried to sit on leads before with bad results.
I hate sitting on leads. They make me miss Brian B who would run the score up when ever possible. Ahhh those were the days. I do not think we will have a chance to pad leads. We have a very tough road ahead and will probably be playing catch on a few of them.

We need to attack the ground relentlessly until they stack the box, and then we throw in 2TEs set, 3WR set, and 4 WR set....

Hello Everyone! Any other Female Football lovers out there? I started watching the Ravens when Flacco started in 2008. Now I'm addicted to football and play Fantasy and sit around on Sundays like a degenerate and watch all the games (We have the NFL Ticket)

I think we will beat the Raiders, because I think the team is so pumped up to keep their undefeated at home record. But I don't think it will be a blow out. I don't think we'll have a blow out this season, our record makes us look better than we have been playing. But Wins are Wins and I'll take 'em either way!

I know this is out of place but I didn't know where to put it. I saw an interview with Ray Rice on NFL Network today. He acquitted himself with class and dignity. He didn't just spout talking points but seemed to share his real thoughts and opinions. When asked about Chuck Pagano he said, "He is one of the greatest men I have ever known." The praise was authentic. He went on to describe the personal nature of Chuck's approach. I enjoyed getting insight into this guy who is in a battle for his life. It made me root for him even more. Tip of the hat to Ray Rice from a Steeler fan.

I'm waiting for our Raiders fan we have on here to come in and see this, he will go off. I bet he's been building up for the past year or so what to say and how to make Palmer the better QB over Flacco.

Not just that Palmer was better than Flacco but Palmer and the Raiders O would be top 5 in 2012
First of lol at Raiders being top five Offense.
Second off, Palmer is the most overrated QB in the NFL

He wants Welker.... He has Foster,Martin,Murray, and Rice. I said I'd give him Ben and Welker for E.manning and rice. He's also throwing in Givens, and Steve Johnson. I'm picking Joe up after I trade Eli next week(Rodgers in on a bye, as is Morris, Brown is hurt. Need WR). Anyway I'm gonna put this into perspective
Madden
Flacco>Palmer
Fantasy
Palmer<Flacco
Real NFL
Flacco>>>>>>>>>>>Palmer
I hope I made this clear.......

It better be a good game! I'm going to be in this stands for this one. First regular season game ever :)

No offense, but I hope it is such a lopsided game (toward the Ravens) that the game is boring. I hope Joe scores so often that it gets tedious. Of course, if you are there watching THAT live, it would be pretty exciting.

I just hope we come our fresh and healthy.
speaking of healthy, we've been hit hard, mainly on defense, but our defense has been winning our games, carys pic 6 vs clv-1, the ugly dallas game, the disaster in kc, our defense beat philly but flacco and the refs gave the game back to the eagles, clv-2 disaster, but i like these ugly games, and oakland likes to make things ugly, look for a lot of fgs, palmer plays us good, we can't cover, but reed's back there, without ray, running backs a salivating. and, somebody on offense is going down, stay tuned... oakland put 34 on pit, but i see it about even ravens 3, raiders 2, lol

I thought it was Joseph that had our number. He's saved the contact since moving to Houston.
Well Joseph clearly hasn't! Hopefully Carson has forgotten the confidence he had against the Ravens...

I'm looking to see how the offense handles this game, and if it's a sign of how things will be over the back half of the season. This offense is so talented and deep that, they should be a match up nightmare for any defense. I have finally come to the realization that this offense has out grown Cam, or he just isn't suitable to handle the personnel that's here. However that's another story for another time. They have to deal with what here now.

I feel the Ravens should take the same approach they had early against the Browns. Get the run going, but then take shots down field. I thought the offense got way too basic after going up 14 points last week and paid for it. I good healthy balance between run and pass, regardless the numbers is what will make this offense move. Hopefully the home crowd gets these guys going

I am a huge Ravens fan... and I have been since they came to Baltimore. What I have noticed all these years is obvious to any fan (and many other team fans too) - Baltimore's defense has been the key to success. We now have a decent QB --- sorry Flacco, but you aren't the #1 QB (perhaps yet).

I certainly cannot do any better on the field by anymeans (so it is easy for me to squander here online) - but defenders are paid to tackle the offense, right? That is what our defense is supposed to do right, tackle - intercept - cause fumbles - sack - pound the other team's offense. Make them feel like they've been mowed over by a bus!

So what happened these past few weeks? Why is Baltimore's big D so weak? Why can't they tackle correctly? Shoulder bumps... really? C'mon Ravens... don't let us down... wrap up those tackles. No more one harm 'attempts' and 'shoulder bumps' ---- get back to the basics, put them on the ground... period... no more yardage after first touch, no more big plays getting by...

Go Ravens! The fans are counting on you... Take charge of the victory, don't let it come to you by chance.
