I think we abandoned the running game way to soon in the Houston game. We had a whole half to get those points back. The Texans put up over 26 points in a half and they used the run, we should be able to do that too.

I'm sorry but this issue falls solely on the shoulders of the offensive coordinator. Cam needs to formulate personnel packages that play to our players' strengths within a creative game plan that doesn't telegraph our every move to the opposition. He is just too predictable! All teams have certain tendencies, but when the opposition knows exactly what is coming, you've already taken out the stragtegic element out of the game for the most part.

Can Cam devise a game plan that exposes the weaknesses of the defenses we play at the same time putting our offensive players in the best position to win by playing to our strengths?

Flacco, Rice and Leach all seem to essentially be on "the same page" from all the articles posted here this week, Cam seems to be the only one with a different size set of shoes on! Dare I think clown shoes???

Vonta may not be frustrated, but I am!! He and Ray should be putting up the yards by plenty at this point in the season, but are almost invisible. THAT'S a problem!!

Vonta is a straight up guy, which is why I'm not surprised that he's not upset about his playing time. But are we just now figuring out that we need to run multiple plays out of the same formations? Or was it more of a play calling mistake that kept him off the field? Regardless of what the cause is, I hope the "massive analyzing" that went on during the bye week fixes a lot of these issues.

Why cant we have more designed running plays with Leach and Rice and if go audibles to a pass Leach becomes a blocker? And I am getting tired of hearing that we dont want to be predictable. Everyone used to know we were a run first team and it worked out pretty good. Impose our will on them!

As frustrating as it was I am beginning to miss the last few years where Flacco seemed to check down to Rice on every play. At least we moved the ball. All of these 3 and outs are killing us!

Vonta Leach could be a Marion Motley, Jim Brown, or Joe Perry running the ball. Because Cameron is so narrow minded, Leach will be the blocking back, I'm afraid, until Cameron is fired.

The situation of abandoning the run when we still had the option of running the ball. Its easy to know this offense will go into direct throw mode if we are down by 2 scores. Way too predictable. We need Leach paving the way for RR and Pierce!

He--, ALL OF THEM should be frustrated given their output. Vonte has class and would rather not stir up the pot. We are ALL frustrated !

Well, anyone reading my posts during the Bye knows that I'm frustrated by the lack of carries for Ray Rice, Bernard Pierce AND Vonta Leach,...

Obviously, the "Three-Headed Monster" is no longer in the Raven lexicon!

They said they don't want to get too predictable playing Leach all the time. Did I read that right? Isn't passing all the time a bit on the predictable side, too?

PERHAPS Cam is trying to spread the ball around to TOO many players to either make everyone happy or to try to make HIMSELF look good- either, for whatever reason, etc (it is a stat laden league, more than ever- especially with the growing popularity of fantasy ball). You nevvver know. If we were to stick to good old fashion, bread and butter- I believe there would not be an issue. I hope that this makes some sort of sense. Again, NOT saying that it is, but you nevvvver know.

Rice is still near the top of the league in yard from scrimmage as usual, so its not like running has disappeared but i definetly think they will step it up. I think the best no huddle would be running multiple plays in the same formation really quickly. Id say have Leach, Rice, Pitta, Boldin and Torrey, you could have the TE block some plays or line up wide. Just get up from one play, get to the line same formation, or maybe slightly different but same people, and run a different play. Play depends on what Joe reads and he needs to learn to see and audible to the right run play. He sees they are playing 7 in the box with one guy backing up, then he should call a run up the gut with Leach and Rice.
