What's wrong with Gostkowski?
I was wondering the same thing actually.

No, whats wrong with Belicheck?
But, Bill Belicheck is the defensive guru, isn't he? After all, his defensive squads have clearly show that in recent years...

And they cut Sterling Moore.
Awesome.
I'm guessing he was cut to make room for Cornerback Aqib Talib that they just traded for

My wish is becoming true! Excellent...

He hasn't exactly had much talent on his defense in recent years. His bad defensive numbers can easily be attributed to the Patriot's high powered offenses. His squads also do fairly well in scoring defense, which is what matters. They give up a ton of yards but they do alright in points allowed. Also, he was the LB coach and DC for the Giants in the 80s. There is little doubt that he is a defensive genius. I really don't see how this pertains to the thread though.
As for the actual topic, maybe Gostkowski is dealing with an injury or having issues with kickoffs. Cundiff may suck, but what better kickers are out there? He's still pretty good on kick offs. The Patriots score so many points off touchdowns and move the ball so efficiently, I guess they could afford to have a kicker who struggles with field goals.

i'm surprised that the patriots would look at Cundiff. this is the same cat that missed a FG (against the patriots) to tie the game in the AFCCG, and then...he missed 3 straight FGs before making 1 in a recent Redskins game this season before getting cut as well.

Ooohhhhh, that Billy Cundiff. I was confused there for a minute

Am curious if they will sign him. He did help them out last year after all.

It is almost time for Thanksgiving. Bill just wanted to invite him to Thanksgiving dinner for missing the Kick.

Awesome.
Sounds like a not too bad pick up for a try out to me with Moore.
