With our recent issues on Defense there are a lot of questions. One question no one seems to be addressing is regarding the play of Terrell Suggs, which is been outstanding, so here we go:
Suggs has missed OTA's, minicaps, training camp, all 4 preseason games, all practices, 6 weeks of regular season. He had 3 full time Practices in a week leading up to Texans game in week 7. Then he gets put in the game and plays extremely well and SACKS THE QUARTERBACK. Mind you, Suggs was on the field for 7 minutes when he sacked Schaub. He did something many of our LB's have been trying to do since first preseason game. IN SEVEN MINUTES OF GAME TIME, WOW !!!
So, how is that possible? Can any of our linebackers come and duplicate that? Don't think so. Can any of them get to the quarterback ? Barely. Our Pass Rush stinks.
So I ask the question - Is it the players or the coaching?
Could The Coaching On Defense Get Better?

Pass interference is the worst penalty in football.
If you poke somebody's eyeball out, you get a a 15-yard penalty.
If you make "contact" with the receiver, it could be 60 yards
(70 yards if you have QB Joe Flacco) and an automatic 1st down.
Makes a lot of sense.

Its both but more on the coaching. players we had last year played a lot better than they are right now. Then all the sudden they disappear or something. doesn't make sense to me.

He can't go out there and tackle for us. Yeah there are some things he can do better, but the same thing applys to every single coach in the nfl.
Our defense has faced some serious injuries this season, and our young guys just aren't stepping up. Nothing Pees can do to fix that.

come on guys there are way too many defense and coordinator threads that question the coaching and the scheme of this defense. We don't need new threads everytime someone thinks they have a new unmentioned thought about the coaching and players.
