Flacco - How much is he worth?

I also wonder how much the Ravens can actually afford to pay him... they have some big contracts on the books with some aging vets

Let this season play out and then do an evaulation on what to pay him. But I wouldn't let him out of town at all.

Use the franchise tag on Ed Reed. Let Joe test the market. Free Joe Flacco.. If you care anything about Joe, management will let him go. For Cam has a proven track record of good QBs becoming great QBs post Cam. Free Joe.

Frankly Joe has never once said he wants 'top 5' money. However, his agent has. Does that mean he is looking out for the best interest of his client - sure. But, has Flacco told him to only accept 'top 5' money. I don't think so and here's why. Seeing Joe's personality over the past 4 years, he is very much a hands off sort of guy. He believes his contract is his agent's job and believes that he will get whatever his agent can manage to get out of the Ravens for him. But, in the end, he will sign a contract for the right amount of money.

I really believe he will get money that the likes of Philip Rivers, Schaub, Romo etc, have gotten and then all will be well....
