Maybe it'll turn into a tropical storm by the time it gets here like they usually do, or is this one somehow special?
Edit: It might be good the Ravens have a bye week.

That storm almost washed out my wedding then we went to the Fl Keys for our honeymoon and the water was warmer then the air TWC was broadcasting in front of our condo in Daytona earlier--it looked good lolI read somewhere that it could be worse than the Perfect Storm. I am glad I don't live on the coast anymore.

What's special is that Sandy is supposed to meet up with a vicious front coming in from the west right over the mid-Atlantic region. It's also full moon (higher than usual tides) so the coastal flooding could be incredible. Top that off with Sandy being HUGE and slow moving and we're talking possibly 4-5 days of high winds and torrential rains. This is not going to be pretty.

I'm headed to Costco tomorrow to buy a shotgun and a case of beans. This zombie apocalypse won't be pretty. I'm sorry if I have to take any of your zombie-selves down.

But as a recent Floridian who only saw snow when I went up Ohio to visit family over the years, I'm actually a tad excited to see the white stuff.

Think of that freak storm we had in July with the power being out, and multiply that by 10. That's what they say this is gonna be. 60mph winds will be the norm for a couple of DAYS.

If Katrina didn't create any zombies in the voodoo, old graves town of New Orleans. I don't we'll be seeing any zombies in DC.

I'm guessing the supermarkets are going to be ravaged already. Everytime I go into one when a big 'storm' is being hyped it looks crazy. Carts are tipped over in aisles, shelves are empty, there are half eaten items, spills on the floor, and the employees looked like they were taken.
In the end, we'll be okay people. The world is not going to end.
