Geesh, even the Ravens main page site is full of negativity.
There is nothing positive to look forward to with Harbaugh sounding confused on what to do with our team, contracts needing to be negotiated, players hiding injuries, the most penalized team in team in the NFL...hell, I think the last positive thing I remember about our team was supposedly having the most difficult stadium for visitors to play at.

At first I thought our team needed two weeks to stew on this embarrassing loss so they could bounce back with a vengeance.

But now I am starting to question how good we are since it is starting to feel the team has more issues than I originally thought.

Anything short of a Browns blow out with Flacco throwing no picks, Rice getting 25 carries, and the defense not allowing over 100 yards rushing...I feel is going to be graded a failure on the team's part. Are they being set up for a no win situation?

Buddy there are quite a few positives to look forward to in the coming weeks.
  • They are going back to the rush the way it sounds.
  • Suggs back with a few practices under his belt.
  • All the negative on the offense is something Cam cannot ignore.
  • Ngata hopefully getting his shoulder and NCL a couple weeks rest.
  • Bernard Pierce getting more touch's.
  • Now that Jimmy obviously has heard his issues he might be adapting to the double move.
  • Our team growth as a whole can be an exciting time.

Maybe they're trying to warn us to temper our expectations for the rest of the season.

Sad to say the Negativity is a reality.

The last 4 years this team made the playoffs not from coaching but players we had. Now that we have lost some key players what were seeing is the poor coaching that has been hidden due to the caliper of players we had. Many people will argue this I'm sure but once again we came out strong and down hill from there. Is this on the players or is it on the coaching staffs poor ability to put the players in the best position to succeed.

Were 5-2 on the bye week, I really hope Pees changes his approach to his game planning. Again we no longer have the JJ, Reading and so forth if were already giving up massive yards change your tactics. If we all see our DB's having issues with turning and looking for the ball or double moves, are we really working with them to get better. Maybe we need to play more press coverage against our Receivers so both sides can learn to adapt better. Our HC needs to stop being so political and do what he said he was going to do.."LAST YEAR" More involved we our Offence. And if he is more involved why are we seeing the same Consistency as LAST YEAR?

Negativity or Same as last year.......Time will tell.

I think they have to be tempered. Those Pittsburgh games just became a lot more difficult now with our defense not being able to stop anything. If the inconsistent offense shows up for either of those games it's game over. San Diego will torch our defense to the tune of 35ish points and I'm having a hard time believing we'll beat Manning.

This. When people questioned the coaching people would always respond look at the record. Our record is still good but could easily be much worse. I've said we've gotta by on the talent and it's starting to show as the coaches keep messing the bed. Cams game planning is more inconsistent than Flacco and he still seems like he's trying to force players into his system instead of molding it to the talent on the team. Pees I will blame the players because I doubt he's telling the d line to open up those holes. People can say what they want about the pass rush but that has been a problem for years. Even when Rex was here most of our pressure came from scheme which Rex was a faster of. The back and front odds the defense need to work together and if the qb has a clean pocket for 4-5 seconds even with pressure I don't know if you can blame the DC for the personnel not being able to beat their 1-1 match up.

I will give Harbs this though, the ST is much improved as he promised.....

Yeah. It could just as easily go well as go as bad as the talking heads are predicting. Remember, we are still basically the same team as last year, and they were nearly the conference champs. No reason not to go into the Browns game with some much reasonable hope.
