What Free Agent Do We Need To Get Better?

104 posts in this topic

EJ Henderson is a one dimensiol run stuffer. He is a solid plugger.

One dimension may be better than no dimension.

We ain't be havin' much cap room. It is time to rebuild the D through the draft. It may be better to release older types then bring in some one elses.

If we are gonna be a big time passing game, we may need to think about people who can pass block. I feel the descision to out score people has been made, so bring in an All Pro left tackle type.

If it makes you feel better, Burfict is still a lazy piece of crap in Cinci. He looks alright in game time, but is said to be struggling with the playbook and showing up late to practice constantly. Fortunately for him, he plays there where they'll tolerate it for whatever reason. He wouldn't even be playing here with that attitude.

Bengals only have praise for Burfict.

kind of sad your making b.s. up about burfict about him being a slob.

His one of the most productive player on bengals and they are pushing rey malualuga's starts away from him bc his been so good.

wonder who begged this for pointing out facts.
For every 4.3 tackles Mychal Kendricks makes, he misses one. He's currently "on pace" for somewhere around 72 tackles and 26 missed at the end of the season.

Why would I make that up? It's the truth. He's playing because he's been performing on the field. I'm not saying he's been a bad player. I'm just saying that he's still lazy, which is 100% true.

where is the cornerback gorrer that we had? when he was on the field he caught my eye a couple times? he is in my opinion better than cary williams and jimmy bite a double move smith.
The scary thing is just think if ray lewis would have mentored this kid. I did watch his pre draft video of him answering some questions which made me be very weary. Didnt seem like a raven.(class act)

Danny Gorrer got cut before the season started, not sure where he is now, and yes we could use him. Andre Goodman would be good too. I think they both deserve take a look at. And Chykie Brown earned the chance to get more playing time, so we need to put him in. The tought question is, who is playing worse at this time - Cary Williams or Jimmy Smith?

Mr. Gives up one TD every game Cary Williams.
Jimmy may give up yards at times, but still no TD's. We are ok in the secondary.... We need to get help on the D-Line.

I would never thought to say this, but I guess Cary Williams & Jimmy Smith might be as good as having Frank Walker & Chris Carr as starting corners.

I agree, it does come down to coaching. A good coach can make a mediocre player into a good player.

Gorrer was signed by Seattle a few days after he was cut from the Ravens.

They are much better but maybe not so much this year because of the way they are lining up (as coached).

Too true. Maybe that's why we have so many players that were good in college and now seem mediocre....

Re-sign Danny Gorrer. I think the Seahawks released him.
Yeah, Seahawks just released him to confirm.

That would be one acquisition I would advocate. Just not sure who gets kicked off the roster to make room for him.

James Indigo or Sean Considine or Anthony Allen or even Bobby Rainey.

I could see us bringing Gorrer back but does he clear waivers?

Yeah, i wouldn't mind Danny Gorrer coming back. Cut Anthony Allen.
Key ST guy, Allen won't be going anywhere.

I'm all for bringing Gorrer back. Who to drop? Considine or Ihedigbo are the first two that come to mind, but we don't necessarily have to drop a D player. Then again those two do more on ST and it's not like Gorrer couldn't fill in those roles either.

Eh, I dont think we need another CB tbh. Asa Jackson might get some PT going forward and Chykie has been good in the limited time he has seen. Nothing Danny Gorrer did was super impressive last year. I'm not sure why everyone is obsessed with him. If we get a pass-rush going Jimmy and Cary will look a lot better. The problem is opposing QBs generally have a clean pocket and time to throw pinpoint passes that have beaten good coverage. Very few times have their been wide-open receivers.
