Gave up a 4th and recieved a 7th Round Pick from Tampa to get Talib. The Bucs now own eight Draft Picks in the 2013 NFL Draft.

I love the trade for New England. Which means I hate the trade in general.

Talib is a really good CB, if he straightens up and stops getting in trouble all the time than he would be great.

Don't he have court for something serious in the offseason? I know he's a FA after next year so I guess BB just wants to use him for this year. Does anyone know if he's still got those charges pending on him? I believe it was a felony. ...him and Dennard should be good friends quick.

[/quote]why does it amaze you? BB isn't afraid to gamble on players like Moss, Haynsworth, and now Talib. The main difference between BB and every other coach in the league is that BB is pretty much untouchable in the Patriots organization so he can do whatever he wants If the players don't work out it is the players fault and not the coach

I would guess partly because he is out till at least week 10 due to a suspension for using adderall , on top of that Belicheck gave up a 4th rounder for roughly 7 games and maybe possibly the playoffs. Talib is a free agent shortly.

WE could have picked up Talib, put Cary against slot guys. We'd have 3 really good corners walking into next season if he stayed
