I'd like to see those just coz I liked them not necessarely good players

Chad Williams, S
Gary Baxter, CB
BJ Sams, KR
Corey Ivy, CB
Randy Hymes, WR (always thought he had some randy moss in his game but never could developp his potential with Boller)
I remember Baxter wanting Top 5 corner money, for basically being a glorified Safety. Then he went to CLE for butthurt reasons (I remember when one fo the Ravens FO guys was hired) and only ever played well against the Ravens.

And Hymes was supposed to be the saviour (I think he only caught 34 passes in one year).

Musa Smith
He was never the same after he broke his leg. Cant say that I blame him though.

It was a shame too. He had a lot of potential.

None of those players are performing at an "outstanding level". The only former players still in the league I would want back are JJ, Grubbs, and Redding. What is McGahee going to add to this offense? An inopportune fumble?
Well, Stokely is still catching passes from Peyton Manning and has one more TD pass in a Super Bowl as a Raven than any of our current receivers. D, Mason was able to catch passes with or w/o separation. McGahee would add some spark to an otherwise mediocre running attack and is better than any of our back-up running backs. Oh, yeh, he can can pass block too. I did leave out Todd Heap. He had more clutch catches than Dennis Pitta and I forgot our other TE's name its been so long he caught a pass.

Stokley is old. Mason is old and retired. Mason in his prime would be a welcome addition, but if you want current players neither of them would be useful. Our rushing attack is not mediocre at all, it's just under-utilized at times but averaging close to 5 YPC is one of the best marks in the NFL. Todd Heap in his prime would be great, but right now he can barely stay healthy.

Did you watch the game on Sunday? Ray Rice's production was mediocre at best. He was blanketed all day by JJ Watts et al to the point where Joe couldn't even utilize him as a relief valve. You'll get to see how good two former Ravens are performing when Brandon Stokely and Willis McGahee come to town with Peyton Manning.

Rice had 9 run carries. How do you produce with that little # of touches ? As for receiving, he was only targeted 5 times. Total of 15.

No idea where you get the idea that Ray Rice was doing bad considering even with limited touches he was averaging 4.7yards per run.

Just to reiterate, Joe had enough chance to prove himself. He threw 43 times with a passing avg to 3.4 per/yards. He completed just 48.8% of his passes which adds upto only 21 completion out of 43.

Have some common sense. Rice wasnt the issue, it was Flacco.

Ray Lewis - In his prime (doesn't count against 5, because he is still playing)!
Ed Reed - Same as above
Now for the 5!
Jon Ogden
Sam Adams (pairing him with Ngata is beastly)!
Goose (imagine Ngata, Goose and Adams in a 3-4 defense)!
McCalister (shut down in his prime opposite Webb)
Peter Boulware (in his prime) opposite Suggs ( Beast Mode)!

And because I was so good I am going to gift myself a 6th player

So, what was Ray Rice doing the rest of the time? Was he pass blocking for Joe? It was hardly a "Jim Brown" effort on his part. I will concede that it was not one of Joe's best days but there were Texans in his face all day. I'm not sure why Vonte Leach only played 14 snaps either. He is a manimal. Joe needs more protection. After falling behind by so much at halftime, the second half was fairly predictable. Most of the passes completed by Joe came in garbage time. The team, including Joe and Ray, were not adequately prepared by their coaches to play. When a player who has not played in 6 months, outplays his other teammates, it speaks volumes about the lack of preparation of the entire team. If the Coaches do not have the team adequately prepared by next Sunday, Trent Richardson will run for 200 yards.

Have some sagacity! What's remarkable is that Joe did not fumble more than once, given the vicious blindside hits he endured in the Houston game. If it keeps up, he will not last the season. Marshall Yanda is the only offensive lineman we have who has consistently played at a respectable level this year.

I don't understand the calls for McGahee or Jamal Lewis as we have Ray Rice who when utilized correctly is better than those 2.

My guys I would want back in their prime to help this current team out who no longer play:

Edwin Mulitalo

Jlewis behind our oline oher-Harewood-birk-Yanda-KO

Would be godly.. Obviously Birk is a weak spot but our run blocking with that line is still great and with Jamal behind that line pounding would be magical
