I'm really not worried.

Suggs has been awesome and now we know that he's going to be just fine.

The defense has looked alot better and the score is not indicative of how well they came to play. The offense just hasn't helped them out.

That being said, the offense has still been great this season and it will not play this badly too often this season.

We still have a very good offense and the defense looks to be better than we feared now with Suggs back.

Suggs will only get even better as he rests and gets back to 100% as well.

I'm not worried. Just one bad game is all. We'll be fine.

Oh, and Ellerbe has been solid as well. Cary still blows though.

On the bright side, we're 5-2. On top of the AFC North. Second in the AFC. And the defending AFC champs are 3-3.

On the bright side, there's always the off-season. Maybe Cam Cameron will finally be fired so this offense can actually grow.

You're really giving up on the season at 5-2? Come on man.

I remember we got blown out by San Diego last season but we proved that it was just one bad game.

I actually would be pleased to see a fire cam thread this week. 2nd 3 in your goaline, call as pass and joe gets sacked stripped. 3rd and 3 pass again sure why not. Then when the lead was 13 points in the second qtr we abandoned the run, passing while the oline was getting dominant. Flacco was horrid today but what can he do? No one open, no time, totally out of rhythm, couldn't get his feet set even for the easy throws.

Only good thing coming from this game is Suggs, upshaw and ellerbe played well

the defense came to play huh?

did you really just say that with seriousness?
if they came to play they would have made at least one stop and given us momentum instead of letting them score td's every time we did

Yep, but our D sucks now.
We were injured, exhausted, and are a bad road team in general. We fix problems on the road, were ok.
Suggs is back tho.

the bright side; is that game vs the texans is finally over and we can put it behind us but remember it and use it for fuel to get through the next half of the season.

All valid points, but let's not act like this is a new occurrence. This is the exact same crap we've been dealing with because of Cam for three years. All I know is I was ticked off enough to start making my off-season spread sheet and start doing some math at halftime to see what I think we should do.

Our defense came to play early and Sugg looked great. I just think after seeing first hand how terrible Joe was going to be this game they may have lost faith. The offense gave up 9 points early and Joe was missing open receivers badly. Another typical road performance by Joe.

On the bright side... we're still in first in the AFC North, Sizzle looked amazing, Tucker is absolute money, and it only counted as 1 loss.

Another bright side is that Joe isnt a bad QB, his INTS were not his fault, and niether were the sacks. Theyre defense is the best in the NFL. Thats too be expected.

Big picture is the next two games are winnable.Beat a hungry but undertalented Cleveland team and an Oakland team at home who can't play seemingly in the eastern time zone, and we're sitting at 7-2.We lose one of those and maybe then we can start looking for the panic button.

Buddy are you ok, did you fall ?

Our defense stinks. The score means a lot. It shows that against a good team we cannot compete. If we expect to be in the play-offs i think we need to call a time out andrebuild the defense with some college kids and try again.

Sucks is a relative term. There is no truly dominant defence this year along the lines of the old Ravens or Steelers. Even the much-touted NFC West isn't all that strong.
