It's all on the play calling. You can't tell me that Torrey Smith, Boldin, Jacoby Jones, Dennis Pitta, Ed Dickson, ALL can't get open. That is play calling. Nothing to do with the receivers.

Also 6 carries for Rice? Cam never learns. Fire him.

it doesn't surprise me. see: Jacksonville, San Diego, AFC Divisional, Seattle, etc. The sad part is the commentators have to mention it every game.

O-line gave us no time to throw.

O-line gave us no time to throw.

Which is why I assumed coming into this game that we would see Rice carry it a ton, and be used on draws/screens.

Fire Cam.

Cam's route concepts have never helped receivers get open. The OL certainly didn't help, but it's also on Cam.

I actually watched SNF last week when the Packers torched the Texans through the air, so I fully expected to be pass heavy, albeit not quite that pass heavy.

Maybe it's time for a new offensive coordinator. If for nothing else, to find out if he's the problem or the players.

Caldwell anyone?

Can't believe I've finally succumbed to the Fire Cam bandwagon, but this is enough. Offense is too inconsistent.

I've been saying for years that what we need is a new WR's coach. Year after year our receivers can't get open, can't block out defenders, and can't make the easy catches.

Fire Cam.

Yeah, we need a new OC and DC. I love Harbaugh, but the problem with having a Special Teams guy is that you need really good coordinators. I'm hoping Norv Turner doesn't get out of this season, he'd be a really good fit. Also why is Bobbie Williams Starting? He's given up 4 sacks in 2 games where as Harewood has given up 1

There's just too much inconsistency on a game to game basis for the blame to be on just the players. The game plans are sketchy. Especially the past few weeks.

I agree with you on all points. While Norv's style of offense isn't exactly what I want to go to, he has done a good job of managing that in the past and had everyone thinking Rivers was elite for a while there. Anything at this point is better than Cam, we need a change and it's pretty apparent. And this isn't a panic reaction, I've been saying it for the past 3 years with Cam now. I also don't understand the change from Harewood to Williams, I thought Harewood has done a pretty decent job.

It is time for a new defensive coordinator. we also need to go back to more balanced offensive play calling. two weeks in a row with half the time of possesion. it's obvious we can't slow anyone else down so it's time for us to slow the game down. love the no huddle but with a below average defense all that does is give opposing teams more time to shred us up.

The Texans knew what patterns were being ran.And they either jumped on them or batted them down .If anything,I was hoping he;d throw deep more, and then the line coildn't protect.Bobbie Williams got posterized going for a headfake to get his quarterback sacked.

The problem with getting new coordinators is Harbs' blind loyalty to his friends. We might need to clean house to fix this coaching staff. This team is not a Super Bowl contender the way it is right now, and with two foundations of the franchise set to retire in the next year or so its time to shape this team in a different way.

Count me in as one of those fans that thinks Cam is a disaster for us. Yeah, he calls a good game every now and then but his play design(or lack there of) is atrocious at best. There is no way that with the talent we have, we should not be able to get open.

OR

Maybe I got it all wrong..maybe it's Flacco..maybe the OL...hell I don't even know anymore.

Are people FINALLY seeing the light? Joe played terrible I mean TERRIBLE but these kind of offensive performances continue to happen even when Joe is accurate. I said this week that this is the same defense that called our offense simple/predictable after the playoff game when they shut us down. It's not surprising that our offense struggled against them once again.. it was just worse though because Joe was really off.
