Calvin Johnson is too good for the Madden Curse, so the EA Sports Gods transferred it to Stafford. His struggles are also CJ's struggles, as a result.

I guess shutouts aren't allowed in the NFL anymore, unless you're the Jets. So many garbage yards in this game make it look like the Lions offense actually played well.

I won't lie. I am currently kind of jealous of Chicago's defense.

It's bitter/sweet to watch their defense. On the one hand, you're like, "ohh yeah, I love defense." On the other hand, you're thinking, "eh, I wish we still looked like this on defense."

What a play by Urlacher.
Don't kid yourself. He has been brutal all season.

He made 1 tackle in the run game all night for a gain of 5 (while facing 18 carries) & gave up receptions on 6 of the 7 balls thrown his way. 4 of those went for 1st downs.

According to Pro Football Focus he is ranked 42nd out of 47 for Inside/Middle Linebackers. He had a -8.2 rating vs the run heading into tonight's game.

He is a starting MLB in the NFL that is on pace for 72 tackles this season (56 solo) and hasn't recorded a sack/interception/Forced Fumble this season.

Thank the Bears great D-Line, Briggs' incredible play, and their Corners Tillman/Jennings for how their D is playing.

The Bears have beaten the Colts, Jags, Lions, Rams. They also have a win vs an overrated but decent Cowboys team but also got spanked by the Packers.

They now play Carolina and Tennessee in back to back weeks.

It seems everyone else has gotten better at drafting defensive players and all of a sudden we have become bad.

Though, not sure if you guys saw but Kansas City has named Brady Quinn the starter and has benched Matt Cassel.

Lol yeah i saw that earlier. I guess the fans do have some influence on them, even after Scott Pioli said he was sticking with Cassel.

Also, Troy Polamalu already ruled out for sunday against the redskins, as was Marcus Gilbert. He's played in PARTS of 2 games this year.

I heard the Lions dont have a fullback so on this other forum someone suggested this lol

[background=rgb(230, 230, 231)]I don't think there is really anything for Detroit, get...Jessica Simpson is chunky and has man thighs and calves...hence she would make a good short yardage back (i.e. fullback).[/background]

Polomalu should not be mentioned in the same sentence as being as good as Reed. Hes made of glass. Reed is made out of Rawhide

Reed is a Machine like Ray.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee is done for the season since his sprained toe requires surgery.

That's a major blow to their defense.
