I am so happy about this. If we ever needed anything to go our way it is right now. If Suggs even comes back at 3/4 of what he was his presence will keep the offense busy and rush plays along as well. That should help our secondary out so much. Makes me miss good old JJ as well. We still need some push from the line so Suggs can work on eon one but i think that will come around soon enough. I am just so happy that in about 3 weeks Suggs will be back on the field. Of course i think Ray will be on the sideline getting the D fired up with his presence and his guidance.

T-Sizzle returned to practice today. Ray Lewis is designated for return.

Over the last couple of years, the defensive torch has be slowly getting passed to Sizzle. This team rallies around him and last year he made more game changing and crowd moving plays then anyone on our defense. That's no knock to Ray or Ed, but Sizzle is taking on more of that front and center leadership role.

Just having him back at practice should be a big boost. Hope he continues to take his time and gets back for the Raiders game

Having him back at practice means nothing. Suggs is needed Sundays on the field. Hopefully his tear wasn't too bad and he can make it back before the end of the season.

Yeah, you're right. Having the reigning DPOY standing next to you in practice will have no effect. LMAO

With the bad play over the last 2 weeks and the rash of injuries that has hit this week, those guys will love getting some good news of Suggs return, and to actually see him practicing, albeit on a limited basis is encouraging for those guys. Wouldn't you agree?

Yes agree your spirits might rise a bit to see him doing some practice work BUT wouldn't you agree your emotions/adrenalin will increases ten folds if you see him on the field Sunday?

"beside me on the practice" field,
to me, means nothing, sorry if you do not agree but I want my best player to be playing on Sunday if he can of course.

Not Happy about this....at all

Suggs should not be playing this season...at all...

And if he does it shouldnt be until playoffs..

I figured he would want to come back early bc he wanted to show people he wouldn't let them down by throwing away a whole season from playing basketball ...but i didn't think the Ravens F.O. would allow him to do this...

This an injury for a 30 year old that should not be rushed...and both sides are doing this...why?!?! Bc we lost webb..bc we lost Ray..NEWSFLASH we were horrid on defense with those guys...lets next man up and see if we can change somethings...not panic and rush back or DPOY...were 5-1 we brought ourselves some wiggle room...I'm sure the offense alone can pull out some wins in the next couple weeks..

I pray they handle this cautiously...cause any tweek can set suggs back possibly forever..

Of course, but just knowing the guy is that close to returning is a boost for "this" weeks practice. I'm not saying if he never hits the field practicing would be good enough. I'm just for those guys to have that sense of...you know what, we still gotta job to do with or without Ray/Webb and help is on the way in the form of the reigning DPOY

That's what they pay doctors for. They won't let him practice, nevertheless play unless his rehab was going well and he's ready.

Ya see, Suggs is working with professional trainers that know what they're doing. I'm going to assume that you aren't an athletic trainer, and therefore have little credibility on the subject matter. I'm going to take their word over yours.

Oh, I like the shot you put in there about throwing the season away playing basketball...

Calm down, Suggs will not be allowed to play until cleared by the team physicians. I think the coaches are smart enough to not try and rush him back because of all of the injuries on def. I doubt that we'll see him playing before the Pittsburgh game. Next 3 games are Houston, Bye, Cleveland and Oakland. If we can't go 2-1 without Suggs over this stretch we have way bigger issues!!

Forming into a movie plot for real...
Franchise known by its defense is passing the torch to the offense
while losing their DPOY in the offseason and their GOAT and best defender in the same week.
That same week the DPOY returns to practice and the team leaves an opening for the GOAT to return late in the playoffs if possible.

I'm just gonna enjoy the ride

[/quote]id like him back for Oakland if McFadden is playing. You cannot let that guy get outside or he could take it to the house. Multiple times.
