Considering teams seemingly average a first down every two rushes. Seriously what is the deal with the run defense? I really hope there are some good 3-4 defensive ends in the draft because our guys are bad.

It still matters. Less webb means more cary williams and Reed can't just go saving cary ALL the time.

Losing Webb really, REALLY hurts our pass D. Especially on third downs. The Ravens would shift Webb inside on third downs to the smaller shiftier receivers. Basically because Smith and Williams and best suited on bigger guys and cant keep up with those type of receivers.

There is such a huge drop off from Webb to Brown or Jackson. We are going to have trouble when we face teams that have those small receivers that are productive. Antonio Brown twice, Victor Cruz, Hawkins again. Those are the types of guys that Webb would usually go inside and take on third downs.

Posted that in another thread. When a team finally does not run it down our throat and we actually get to a third down, Webb will be a HUGE loss.

stupid threat, remember that webb was also one of our best tacklers and made a lot of plays in the run game. i'm just glad ngata's injury isn't too serious or we would be in serious trouble

If a tree falls down in the woods and no one is around to hear it, do the Steelers still suck?
