Magic Numbers

With 10 games to go:
Cincinnati: 9
Pittsburgh: 9
Cleveland: 8
What does it mean? All we need is, every week, for us to either win or for those teams to lose. Just have one of those things happen per week and we're on the right track. We even have a mulligan, and if we beat one of those teams or we win and they lose in the same week, we'll gain an extra one. And that doesn't consider the possibility of a tiebreaker favoring us (looking good so far), which would bump the number down by one for each team.
It's actually much closer than it looks. In such a short season, building up a big lead early is nothing short of massive.

I dont sweat the Ravens clean sweeping the division. Pittsburgh doesnt look good at all, and we already beat the bengals and browns once and should easily do it again.
easily is not the word i would use especially in the light of what happened yesterday.

Yeah. I dont think anything is going to be easy this season. I do think we are still the class of the AFC north and maybe the whole conference, but every game will be hard fought.

I was on the Steelers forums and people were joking that by the time we get to play them we will both be down to Practice Squad players. It's funny but honestly true. Both teams are losing their best guys.
if not for the first game, definitely by the second this might even apply... geesh, talk about a bad game, what it can do to a roster
