we need one more to replace cary williams jimmy smith should come on the right side and play outside webb hould come on the right side and play the slot on defense Robert Lester from Alabama should take the left outside spot for us thats who we need to draft in this years draft

Lester is a safety. And if your on about the draft. There is a whole section for draft talk where a lot of our defensive needs have been and still are being discussed.

Robert Lester is a Safety who is somewhat overrated.

First start with the guy standing on the sideline. There's not many that's a step down from Mattison but Harbaugh looks like he found one.

It might be easier to say where we don't need help on defense. With Webb out, the only player worth anything on the team is Ngata.

We need help at LB and DL. Our front 7 is playing really bad right now. DL is getting knocked off the ball and there is little to no interior pass-rush. Our OLBs are not getting pressure and are hit or miss in the run game. ILB is weak as well. We dont have an ILB that can cover worth crap and they are all missing tackles at a bad rate.

Yeah. It's pretty sad. Pees blitzed a lot and they still couldnt notch a sack against Romo and the Cowboys shaky Oline. We had a few key pressures (one led to the INT) but still the front 7 is underachieving. We need Suggs back in a bad way.

we have needs everywhere on defense. reed and lewis replacements, better cover corners, better pass rushers and better linemen. Dean Pees has been calling great games since the eagles game but the execution has been laughable. i am starting to realize the talent just isn't there for pees now. it doesn't matter what he calls anymore. the D is just that bad. Combine that with great offensive opponents this year and you get a scary bad result.

I agree, althought I think our DBs have been playing pretty well overall. Cary has been the one to be picked one so far, but most of the completions he lets up he is still right there in tight coverage. Jimmy has been making a lot of plays as well. I definitely think our next draft needs to focus on the front 7. We need some help up front.
