They'll still give it to Matt Ryan, though. Just because of how horrible Atlanta had been the previous season, and because he's the higher draft pick, from a bigger school.

That's just the way it works.

They probably won't give it to Chris Johnson or Matt Forte, even though those two are more deserving.
The Ravens were 5-11, that's pretty bad, though our D was FAR better. Keep watching though, Flacco will make it a contest.

Even though Flacco has looked really good all season, Matt Ryan has played even better. Both of them are complete studs, but Ryan has exceeded the hype, which is pretty tough. I do agree, however, that Ryan would get the award even if they were statistically tied because he came from BC and was a top three pick.

They are VERY close by the numbers, Joe is in spitting distance!

I still don't see why so many people want to release McGahee. He is still a force, even when he's as banged up as he is this season. A lot of fans seem to forget that he basically was our OFFENCE last season.

Flacco was a highly criticized pick.. I think Flacco is proving more critics wrong than Matt Ryan is..

Not sure who has been advocating that, but if we released McGahee, the production of Rice and Le'Ron would significantly decrease.

Yea. Now we hit the hard part of our schedule. Giants.Philly. If we can win one of these games. Then I can say we are damn good. If we win both, then I can say, we can win the superbowl.

See, I think that makes it FAVOR JOE, is is from Delaware which discounted him in the Draft (Teams thought his numbers were inflated because of it)

My bias won't allow me to accept that Matt Ryan has looked better. ;)

That, and it helps that Ryan has a stud rusher in Michael Turner having a breakout season. Flacco may have the three-headed monster (4th in the league, coming into this game), but Turner's the sole reason why the Falcons have the league's top rushing attack.

But either way, I'll be OK with Flacco not getting Rookie of the Year. I'd much rather take a Super Bowl ring, if I had a choice. :D

Like the commentary said, we have yet to beat a team with a winning record. If we don't get something happening in the Secondary we will lose against Eli Manning and the Giants offense. Jacobs may get more yards then any other RB we played against.

I mean, now that Hall has been picked up, are there even any options out there to improve our secondary?
Eventually, using all our timeouts early is going to kill us.
I've been thinking this all year, it hasnt yet but idk, seems like its just around the corner.

Although I would rather Joe use a timeout over him miscommunicating and fumbling and INT
