Oh, Flacco..

Seriously though. Does Ray really care? Of course not. The media is calling him too old to play for a long time and he constantly proves them wrong. Does Joe really care? Of course not. How many chances did he have to take back his "I am the best" quote? And did he ever take that chance? Heck NO. Ray and Joe don't care about the media and probably have a good laugh about it already.

"Flacco’s point is that Lewis will decide for himself when he’s ready to walk away. And he has earned that right."

They let Roethlisberger (who actually commited a crime) slide, and Ray Lewis (who was just at the scene, and if anything a witness of the crime. He did give a misleading statement, but did not kill the man. Ray is a good man, slow news day.

Hmmm.. Lewis was *convicted* of obstruction of justice in a double homicide. That is most definitely a crime. Those murders have never been solved. I understand being a homer to a certain extent, but I've never understood being an apologist for something like that.

Honestly I get Flacco's point, but that was a terrible choice of words. When pretty much every football fan outside of Baltimore thinks that Ray Lewis got away with killing two guys in an argument about the superbowl, you need to choose the jokes you make about him carefully.

I suppose when Brady or Manning "kills the clock" or "goes for the kill shot" or has that "killer instinct" they should be indicted.

This is football. Words like "kill" come up all the time in the rhetoric.
