I am absolutely in love with Stepfan Taylor though, he just never stopped pushing against ND - I really was hoping the call in OT was going to be overturned, I think it could have been a TD call.

Here we go again with clint
Here we go again with your negativity.. Do you not get that Alabama's program is the best in the nation.. Their system is similar to the Ravens defensively and that Saban coaches his players extremely well? What is wrong with me talking about Bama players all the time? Why do you have to say something every time I do? Instead of attacking me why don't you give a good excuse as to why Jesse Williams wouldn't fit in our defense. He could play any of the positions and he is 6-4 330 that benches well over 600 lbs and my best friend that plays at Alabama says he is being clocked in the 4.75 range in the 40.

What we can agree on is we need a stating defensive end, and possibly a tackle if Cody can't earn his spot back.

Well, I haven't been keeping up as much this year... As I follow Bama like its my job.. So I can give good input on it. I'll go back and look at film on others.

Some are though, some arent, like Cody, thus far Hightower as well has been poor. A good programme and team defense at college doesnt mean each individual is capable of playing to the standards this defense sets.
Some times you have to look pat the school and programme, and that is exactly what we have been doing lately drafting small school standouts like Webb, Thompson, jackson, gino, Joe etc etc.

I have been watching the Cal & Stanford game and have been rather impressed (once again) with both. Chase Thomas had just a beautiful sack off a spin move and absolutely nailed the QB and Skov is everywhere on the field. Who do you think is better for the Ravens D, where is there draft value? I've always leant Chase Thomas for his grittyness but Skov may be a little more well rounded and we may just be seeing him starting to get back to his old pre injury form.
Also Ben Gardner Stanfords DE/DT is just a stud on the DL, he looks like the perfect 34 DE and I hop we get him when he comes out.

Maybe he's the next frank goreDid anyone else see the nasty injury to Marcus Lattimore? That may have been the worst injury I have ever seen.
Hope he heals well but his NFL career may be done

ha, prospective nfl career
Tony Jefferson last night vs. ND played a great game. Im not sure how many tackles but it must have been double digits and alot were in space, he displayed some great form. especially on the one QB keeper where he just planted Golson and knocked the wind out of him. His style of play reminds me alot of Eric Berry

It's a good draft for a safety. Jefferson, Elam, lester, Reid, Rambo, etc, should get one in the second possibly even the third cause its so deep.
Too true - we really do need to take advantage of this as past S classes have been nowhere near this
Quick grade list
First round grades:
Tony Jefferson | Oklahoma
Kenny Vaccaro | Texas
Eric Reid | LSU
Matt Elam | Florida
TJ McDonald | USC
- I think the top 3 (arguably all 5) are all better than Barron last year, hopefully they drop further though
Second to Third round grades:
Shawn Williams | Georgia
Bacarri Rambo | Georgia
Robert Lester | Alabama
Duke Williams | Nevada
plus there are guys who can move up like Swearinger, Hyde, etc.We really do need to get one of these guys with the disturbing depth. I would really love Jefferson but I think there really are no weaknesses in his game and wil go higher than we pick

He looked like a beast in that game but the player that really stood out in my opinion was Floyd for Florida he was constantly getting into the backfield and disrupting plays. If anyone is watching the FSU-Florida game Bjoern Werner is a complete beast at DE. He has single-handedly changed the entire momentum of this game. I still wonder if he is a better fit as a 34 OLB or a 43 DE. His style of play makes me say 43 DE but he has the athleticism to play OLB, either way he is a scheme diverse player and this game should help his stock alot and possibly solidify him in the top 15 or 20
