The offense will have to bring it in order for us to even have a shot. I have very little faith in our defense especially after losing Webb. Here's to hoping somebody steps up in a huge way.
The only way I see us winning this one is for Joe to have a elite QB game.

There is no other way as I see it .

If the Texans lose tonight. Next week's game will be a battle for 1st place in the AFC. Crazy to think about.
It would be anyway.

We can win this IF our defense manages to force a few punts. They are going to give up yards and points, but they have to give the offense a chance to go back on the field.

Our offensive line did a pretty decent job today against Ware. If we can pull off similar production from the O-Line and give Joe some time to make plays, he will.

If people want to write us off go ahead. I have full faith this team will make this contest a ballgame.

No matter what it will be a battle for first place. If they win tonight, then we win next week, we will both be 6-1 and we hold first place due to the tie breaker.

True. If we beat them and they win tonight, we'd be tied with the same record but we'd win the head-to-head. I'd just like to see us be the clear cut team @ 6-1 to the Texans 5-2. Its very possible.

If you think this team can beat the Texans you're kidding yourself. That defense could not stop a parked car. Third and fourth string backs shredded that defense today, the best back in the league right now could top 300 yards by himself. Even if Schaub and the passing game are off, that defense is too good and that running attack and offensive line are too strong for a team a flawed as the Ravens to win. And it makes me sad to say it.

I'll add to that. If you don't think the Ravens can beat the Texans, your're kidding yourself. This team has faced adversity before and they still find ways to win games. Plus its a football game. In a world where the Cardinals can beat the Patriots in NE. The horrible Titans can beat the Steelers. etc. etc.

The Ravens are one of the most competitive teams in the league.

If we win next week I'm buying tickets too the Super Bowl. It will show luck is on our side and wE can overcome anything, anything. Houston has arguably been the best team in the nfl, while, well, we haven't been. We need to fight and fight damn hard. Joe and thE offense, along with cam can't waste possessions, at least make it that if we punt, we are pinning them back, can't afford three and outs.

Gameplan has to be shut down the run, and double aj. If Walters comes up big or some other wide receiver so be it. Have to stop the run and keep aj in check.

Then offense just has to locate watt everyplay and do what ever it takes to stop him. I think this could be a high scoring game with a late fg either way, if we have that real fire n our bellies, or else a total embarrassment.

Way to keep the faith.

The Jets gave Houston a game on MNF and there isn't a facet on offense they're better than the Ravens at. A hard-fought win isn't impossible.
Yea I think people are giving the Texans way too much credit. Other then Den who have these guys really played? Now I take nothing away from them, especially since I picked them to play the Ravens in the AFC Championship, but those guys really haven't been tested.

The Texans are far from a prefect or complete team. They have their weakness just like the Ravens do. Foster has had success against our D 2 of the last 3 times we've faced him, rushing for at least 100 yards. In the 3rd game he totaled 100 yards, so him having a big day against us doesn't automatically spell doom for the Ravens.

I think it will be a well played game, and both teams will have to bring their A games

That's what I've been saying. Texans really haven't faced much competition. The Jets gave them a run for the money. People are looking at their 5-0 record and saying how awesome they are but when it comes to our 5-1 its a joke.

I want to see how Houston handles Green Bay before making any predictions. We can beat anyone, but I think anyone can also beat us.

The news is getting worse with each report. Ngata, Lewis, AND Webb in the same weekend? Wow.

This game is going to come down to Flacco, if we win it's going to be because of him. I don't think the OL is good enough to give him the protection he needs to beat a pretty solid Houston secondary. As long as we're all going in with the assumption that the defense won't be able to stop Houston's offense.

With our defense playing the way they have been this should be a very interesting game. Does the score board go to triple digits.. LOL Seriously, We need to get our Defense on point or we will be looking at a loss for sure. If a team has a good passing attack and an average running attack we will be in deep trouble.

Patriots just lost to seattle and now they are 3-3.

We are 5-1, and possibly tied with Houston after tonight. Please for love of all that is good. Lets go HAM and not let this OPPORTUNITY GET AWAY FROM US.

Jamael McClain, Pollard need their physicality back. They are playing pedestrian football.

look were 5-1 yes we have never seen a ravens defense like this one but our offense needs to take the slack and they have done just enough to win. they say adversity makes you stronger... lets hope these injuries are not as bad as being rumored if we can some how pull this one out on the road to a great AFC team we get a well needed bye week..

Perfect.

I hope Houston destroys GB.

I love when nobody gives us a chance... it brings out the best in our guys. Especially the best and most important player on the roster... #5.

We know how big of a advantage #1 seed is from last year.

I want that #1 seed. Hope GB beats Houston hard

I do too. I think we're more likely to win if Houston wins in all honesty.

That said, their defense looks pretty human against a real offense.

My blood pressure meds really arent strong enough for games like this....
My blood pressure will be run through the wringer too. Since I am going to sit down next Sunday expecting a loss maybe it won't be so bad.

The formula for beating the Texans is being shown by the Packers. The big question is, with the injuries, do the Ravens have the horses to carry it out?

Well I guess I am kidding myself because I do believe in the Ravens to win a hard fought game in houston next week. I do agree our run D better step up and get a lot better. Best back in the league could put up 300 yards? Well the way we have been playing I guess its hard to argue that the best back in the league could have a good game against us, great thing he plays for us so don't think that will happen :).

I think we should get Jacoby involved in the game as well. You can never discount a player going against their former team (that let him walk). Plus Jacoby would have some good matchups out there.
We got Pollard, Jacoby, and Vonta (all three are ex Texans). Let them loose!
