Simmons picked us too, but hes not really an analyst.
Simmons picking your lot boosts my confidence actually.

If it is low scoring we'll win it, if its high scoring we'll lose.

So points total <50 = Texans win.

Points total >50 = Ravens win.

I think thats probably a fair assessment.

This one is too close to call for me even though the odds are stacked against us. If our defense steps it up and erases doubts, great! As we've seen once again, any team can win on any given Sunday in the NFL.

Is it me or does Ed Reed sound ready to lose this game? Maybe I am just looking too much into this, and this is every day game talk for every game, but to me it sounds like he is ready to lose.

Not at all. Hes just saying forcing/rushing Suggs onto the field is of lesser importance than winning ONE SINGLE game. Thats all I gathered from it.
Not at all. And I agree. Lose this game? It's not a killer, we're still 5-2. Rush Suggs back and potentially lose him for the year? Now THAT would be a killer.

Crazy. He's loyal to us for some reason. We've been his superbowl pick the last 2 years
Mike Freeman from CBS is also SUPER loyal to the Ravens (and of course he picked us). He's probably the biggest Flacco fan around.

I don't mind at all. It's nice to NOT be expected to win for once. Pretty sure this is the first time the Ravens haven't been favored in a game since the AFC Championship. All of the pressure is on the Texans.

Spread has dropped from -8.5 to -6.5.

Don't know why, but I have a great feeling about today's game. Ravens win 38 - 31!

When I looked at the schedule this summer, this game is one that I put in the "L" column. Now, with all of our injuries and an anemic defense, I was thinking we were going to get stomped into the ground. However, something in me this morning feels different, I think we may just pull this one out, I'm thinking that our O is really going to step up on this one. Plus, I saw a murder of crows this morning; they looked organized, yet chaotic - organized chaos returns!

Guys i for one am nervous. I know if we lose we are just 5-2 and still atop our division but how are we going to stop Watts. My god that man is a sack master. He is fast, agile and hitting his stride. I hope we keep Leach or Dickson back their to slow this man down and Joe comes out ok.. LOL I have never been this nervous even in the SB of 2000.

Thanks for the game guys and the build up week. This place is ok by me.

Sorry for the hurt put on, to be honest though it felt good to be giving not receiving after last weeks debacle.

Might see you in the postseason.

I was debating whether to post this here or Ravens Talk, so if this is in the wrong place, I apologize. Congrats to the Texans on playing a heck of a game today. Granted our team had a lot of injuries, but I'm not going to take anything from the Texans. You all have a great team and I'm sure they will be in the playoffs for many years to come. I'm jealous of your defense. JJ Watt is a freak and a beast. So to the Texans and their fans, congrats on a well-deserved win.

At least your being a good sport, but tomorrow I have to deal with 69er fans, they claim they are the better team.
And seriously dont listen to him, you will die.

Yeah I would imagine you are feeling pretty chipper right now.
You should. Your team played lights out and won it fare and square. No excuses what so ever.
Thanks for being a classy winner.

Now go away you are bothering me
;)

I don't think you'll find many Texans fans on this board, though - I might move this into the Texans thread in Ravens Talk

As poorly as we are playing defensively, nobody will ever drop 42 points on our defense - especially when Matt Schaub is the opposing QB.
Man... talk about eating your words. But I guess if you want to nit pick, the Texans didn't drop 42 on your D.

"Tell you what, if we lose, it will be by a couple points. If we win, it will be by 10 or more."

"it wont matter if Jesus himself was on the IR on our defense, they wont score enough to win. Just like every single other time we have played them."
Man you are just a delight to quote. Talk about a homer. The other Ravens fans were being what is called being realistic in their assesment. You my friend are a homer though and though.
