Good teams/bad teams

I think more than anything, recent history suggest we struggle against teams with good passing defenses and good secondaries in general i.e. Cleveland, Philly, Jacksonville, Seattle, Tennessee, San Diego - not to mention several of those teams have freak receivers that just dominated us for a game i.e. Malcolm Floyd, Kenny Britt. KC is no exception - I'm not a huge Colin Cowherd fan, but I totally agree they're the best "bad" team in the league - they have a great offensive line, elite receivers, elite running back, fantastic secondary, premier pass rusher, and a decent run defense. The only thing holding them back (regardless of what Eric Winston says or feels) is that they have poor quarterback play, and in this league you can't win without good quarterback play. Other teams similar to them are Jacksonville and Miami - teams with a lot of talent in a lot of places, but in recent history teams without a quarterback that was at least serviceable i.e. Mark Sanchez-level don't win. That doesn't take away from the fact that they have elite players in certain spots. KC's biggest strength to me is their pass defense.
