Was our win verses the Chiefs a good sign?

Harbs seemed freaking furious in the postgame press conference. Sore voice and everything. He was probably yelling his behind off like a mad man.
With the Cowboys we play against a team, that tries to come back from a horrible loss and wants to prove, that they are a good team, while the Ravens just fought for one of the ugliest victories ever and want to prove, that they can do better. Book it. Cowboys at Ravens will be the best game of this season.

Don't forget some of the Cowboys are probably looking for a little payback after we whupped them in the final game at their old stadium the last time we played them. This could be a very intense game this Sunday.

Then Philly has the most character of any NFL team Lol. At the end we will take the W any day but the way we played was just discouraging. When is the last time our D looked that soft vs the run??? The only time i remember it being that bad was when we played the giants like 2 years ago. I just hope the defense gets better week to week KC gave us that game the way i feel is the ball rolled our way. With all that being said WE WON!!!!!!!!!! YYYYYEAHHHHHHHH!!! Lol on to the Cowboys.

That was the absolutely the worst rush D performance ever i still have flashbacks of that game lol (albeit NYG had the best ground game then in '08)...... 4 years ago

When you Play as Bad as you can an still Win the Game it says something about your Team.
Actually I think it says something about your opponent's team more than your team.

It might say more about how bad that other team was.
well there are allways at least two sides to see things. i try to stay positive.

we forced the other team to play bad with our defense when it matters the most. i don´t care about how many yards the gained on the ground against us because it just doesn´t matter as long as they don´t score.

what does it give to you to be the top ranked defense when you don´t win games?

Getting to 4-1 was the main thing, and they accomplished that. But still, woulda liked to see our O be more produstive. Not like KC's D is top ranked or anything. Ravens shoulda put up atleast 20 points on them.

We have to fix our problems, make correction, and in game adjustment; however, like every1 has said it it's not easy to win in the NFL against any team in the league.

A win today can help us get home field advantage which is very crucial in playoffs, and a loss today with almost perfect game will cost us a home game advantage in playoff. Very very different situation....

PS: I like everyone to appreciate the win first and then file your complaints about our miscues and problems afterward.....

So many people forget the fact that "Will and Determination" still exist in the game today. The fans of this age are so caught up in what the media has considered the "norm" for how a team should win a football game.

Everyone now wants to see that beautiful 31-17 victory over the opponent, but are quick to jump ship when it is closer than they fell it should have.

What was not to love about that game against KC? How about "The Kid" we got at Kicker right now, proving to the coaches that they made the right decision in keeping him. How can you not love seeing Tucker win that game for us with his leg? How can you not love seeing the defense, after getting gashed, make the needed adjustments to stop the Cheifs when needed most? How can you not love Flacco and Rice (both who struggled) making the plays when needed most to close out that game.

Can someone point out one difference in a 9-6 victory and a 35-3 victory? Because I don't see one...

One involves a defibrillator and the other doesn't. It is fun to watch a game when everything is clicking and it is maddening to watch when it doesn't. I should know, the Falcons have had 2 4th quarter comebacks in 2 weeks. Looking back one was a division game and the other was against a very good mobile qb on the road. Right now there is no difference because a win is a win but during the game... it makes all the difference in the world.

However, games like that are going to happen. Winners find a way to win when things are not going their way. It is a good sign. KC is a tough team too. A lot tougher than their record suggests.

I think this was a very good win for the ravens. We all know last year we would have lost this game, but this year we found a way to pull it out. The Kansas City chiefs D also held Phillip Rivers to about 210 yards passing the week before. I just think their defense is good that's why are offense didn't play up to par. This game was also a AFC conference game it will help us later down the road in determining playoff position. Remember we had to play on the road against New England in the playoffs, because we lost to the Jags in the regular season.
