Ok, lets be serious now, the deadskins? I was born closer to D.C. so I grew up a Redskins fan, but I now live closer to Baltimore and you gotta support your home team. Im a huge fan of them both. Not because I changed my allegiance when the colts left bmore or anything. I personally dont see anything wrong with being a die hard fan of two teams that for 1) Have no reason to hate each other 2) Seperate conferences 3) play each other once every 4 years 4) Both reside in Maryland. Good luck Ravens vs Texans
OK consider this. As a Ravens fan I hate (in no special order) Squealers, Indy, Browns and deadskins. I think most Ravens die-hard fans would agree. Any help here?

Agreed.

A fan's a fan, no matter how you put it. If someone doesn't have a reason to hate a team, then oh well.

Besides, it's not as if the guy's claiming to be a die-hard fan of two teams who are divisional rivals. Not even conference rivals, for that matter.

The Redskins, as a team, have done nothing to the Ravens. To have an issue with their fans is a different story.

But just be happy about 5-3 and finally having an offense. Let's not worry about the NFC East until it's time to play them.

I agree with you as for I hate the Steelers, Colts, and Browns. But for what reason do you have to hate the REDskins? Do you not like the team because you dont like the fans? I'd understand if the Redskins and Ravens were huge rivals or something, but I guess we are all entitled to our opinions

I wouldn't say that Redskins hating is a Ravens Fan prerequisite. It's more of a Baltimore thing then a Ravens thing.

Redskins were hitting a major modern era resurgence at the same time the Colts had just been ripped from Baltimore. Even without this Baltimore has major middle child syndrome with DC as it is.

They also don't play (and the previous team as well) because the NFL avoids this with any teams this geographically close so as not to have one team hit a good stretch and poach all the market share.

i HATE the Redskins. we may not be in the same division or even conference but still. they are our beltway rivals. and they kept us from getting a team in the early 90's so i can defenitly see why ravens fans would hate the Redskins
Well, without getting too much into it, I have a strong dislike for a lot of my family members, but not because they're Redskins fans.

So, the family thing is a moot point.

But no, even when, say, my cousins' friends are around, I'm not annoyed by them.

Maybe it's because their perceived level of "obnoxiousness" doesn't match the Eagles fans I encounter daily? But that's a different story for a different thread...
Well, I have a few Redskins fans in my family to and they are worst fans I have ever meet in my life.

You could argue the same thing about the Colts. I have a strong dislike for the Colts because they always beat us but thats it. It kind of irks me alot of Colts fans assume that every Ravens fan is a former Colts fan and hates them for that reason.
