I really don't see their "man" corners staying step for step with our speedsters outside.
I'll take their corners defending our WRs, over our Corners (especially Cary) covering theirs. Hopefully Tony continues to turn the ball over though. I expect that Pitta and Rice will have to play big parts in the passing game this week.

But lets not forget, before the Chiefs we were struggling with the Pass. Giving up 300+ yards to Weeden, Vick (who has been pretty bad) and Brady.

We were in this situation like 3 times in a row. Brady trying to avoid being under .500, the Browns fighting for their first W and now KC struggling to sort out their problems on the offense. They all were unfortunate to run into the Ravens. The team that sort of wins.
Yeah, we really have nothing to brag about, but we just win. We could have have been undefeated right now. Flacco always manages to pull a victory out of his you-know-what. Has a bad first quarter again NE and then manages to outplay Brady for the next three. Throws a bad INT against the Browns and then puts two drives together, that end in TDs. Has a bad game against KC and then manages to rush for a crucial first down. Heck, he threw a gamewinning TD against Philly after he struggled horribly in the second half.
He is a winner. Sort of.

You are correct! My comment was in the moment and without much thought. I had just left the Cowboys website and saw video on how emotionally down they were after their last loss heading into the bye. I even watched that angry Cowboy fan's video posted on you tube.

Interestingly, the cowboys head coach turned down the head coaching position here with the Ravens that was eventually accepted by John Harbaugh. And who can forget owner Jerry Jones selecting to play Baltimore as the final game to close the old stadium.

That is too bad for them because it is our goal to keep them down and not let them up.

Just sayin'
no kidding? let's keep this simple bruh! did they play an actual game within those 10 days? NO! practice? yes! play an actual game? NO! kinda like a bye-week huh? smh!

With the way our OL played, I don't feel too confident against Ware.
That was my first thought. The guy has a motor that just does not stop. Reminds me of Boulware. But i do think Romo is best when forced out of the pocket so our corners i hope will play their guys right off of the line. I can only hope C Williams watchs some film and get his mind in the game and start playing the ball.

I see Rice with a 70+ yarder, followed by a Pierce 70+ yarder :D
It's a shame that the new stadium wouldn't be shutting down though. lol

Is ratliff back for this one?
He is expected to start practicing and play this week. Which will only make their D tougher to face.

He was coming off a high ankle sprain right?

Yeah... that'll make things hard. Honestly the biggest thing we can have is Ngata, since their interior line leaves a lot to be desired.

Yep. It occurred in August, so he's had plenty time of rest. Hopefully he is a bit off game shape.

There will be a lot of penalties against our young oline but it will be a great test again.
I think it will be 27-20 for the ravens. Our offense never has two days off in a row.

I wonder if we can get this in Flacco's size:

Usually any team coming off the bye is tough. But I am not worried about that aspect with the Cowboys traveling on the road.

I am soooo glad this game is at home. If it were in Dallas, it could be embarrassing.

We weren't very tough coming off of our bye :D

never overlook your opponent, the boys have pass rush that can stall our offense, and have really good WRs corp that can hurt our secondary, our run-D is leaky, our offense is inconsistent, romo will not repeat the 5pic MNF game performance, and the boys are not gonna give the game way like KC, just sayn, ravens have a lot of improvements to do.

Why does everyone say that they actually got 10 days of rest? This
is how I see it after the Thurs night game against the Browns.

Those who needed treatment came to the facilities the next day (Fri).
Sat and Sunday probably off
Mon-Fri practice
Sat travel
Sun play.

Over the course of those 10 days they probably got 2 or 3 days off max?

For everyone saying we're going to win b/c it's Romo at the helm, you should re-think that.
Romo is better than Cassel in every aspect. How many times did w/ sack Cassel yesterday? ZERO
Not telling you nothing that you didn't witness for yourself, but our pass rush is pretty much non-existent.
And if I'm not mistaken when the Chiefs actually called a pass play, Cassel did his job. His 2 pics
bounced off Bowe and he made some good down field throws.

Considering that we were mediocre in the 2nd half of the Eagles game, the entire game against the Browns
and Chiefs, to say this game worries me is an understatement.

Not sure why he recieved a neg for this comment. I was watching the game last week when after his six or so drop the announcers were calling him a possible bust.
Its ok man, people are gonna hate. I was telling the truth though; he has the talent, but does not display it on a consistent basis. Guys like Skip Bayless cannot seem to understand that.

agree, if they let him passed the ball as close as game was i think they would've won, his pics were tipped passes, and when quinn came out slinging they moved the ball easily vs our leaky D.

Very fun article. I found the below quote to be the most interesting, especially since everybody was concerned with Torrey's small hands and ability to catch:
There are only two players in the league with at least 30 targets and no drops. Smith is one of them.
For the 4th straight game. The opponent had a larger time of possession of the ball. No more 3- and outs. Stop wearing out our defense.

Run/Pass the ball 50/50. That is our game. Stop being pass happy!

Sounds like our O-lineman is made to run, not to pass.

Some Cowboy trivia, the boys lost their new safty for the year with a torn archelles. They are #1 in NFL against the pass.
They are 4th total defense. They are second to last in points scored. All of their hurt players probably are returning
this Sunday (especially Jay Ratliff, he's tough). The starting center will probably return this sunday from an injury.
Their glaring weakness is their offensive line. Its been extremely weak. Last week they fixed their problems with
penalities, only had 2 for 10 yards. Have had too many turnovers. Don't expect them to turn the ball over a lot. I'm
telling you its not gonna happen. For the Ravens, its bad for them that Dallas lost embarrassingly to Chicago.
They are really, really looking for a win bad. A few years ago in December the Cowboys were favored to get
smeared at New Orleans in their place, the Cowboys destroyed them (bad). Then NO went on to win the Super Bowl.
What I"m saying is there's psychology involved. Its gonna be a tough game. Remember statistically, Romo (this is true),
just statistically speaking, has the second highest quarterback rating in the history of football. He usually corrects his
mistakes when he goofs up the next game. Even Aikman acknowledged this during a game. We'll see if the Cowboys
offensive line can come together. If not, Romo's on his back again getting crushed and throwing picks. Those new
corner for Dallas are tough. Sean Lee is the second highest rated linebacker in the NFL. Their defense is really solid.
Also, last year while he played, Demarco Murry had the most rushing yards in the NFL, then he broke his leg. Same person
this year can't gain an inch because of the poor play of the offensive line. Its been really weak.

As long as we can stop DeMarco Murray and get some pressure on Romo, should be a big game for us. My roommate is a Cowboys fan and all he does is complain about their O-line so we better get some sacks!
