My Ravens license plates showed up yesterday

I am very excited to have reached the level of fandom that I now have RAVENS license plates

When I move back to Maryland, I will have a Ravens license plate holder and Ravens plates. Maybe. How much did they cost? I'm sure they aren't cheap...

It's $50 for the plates, plus the cost of registration if you're registering for the first time. Not too bad at all.

I am on my second car with Ravens plates. For $55 you get to decorate your car with something Ravens / make your plates un-boring. I just saw a truck last week in the 5100's. My plates are in the 4930's. How about everyone else?

Just the plate holder and a bunch of decals and magnets. Don't know exactly why, but the plates never called out to me.

I have them on my 1996 Saturn in the 2000s. I have even driven a hung over ex-girlfriend to Pittsburgh with them on my car and nothing happend. No one gives a darn in the DC area when I drive with them on my car!

I mainly got them because the new Maryland plates are ugly.

Mine are 0300's -- like I said had then a while. I actually got them for my old van and had to wait for them in the mail and then transfer them to the new one.

My first car is in the 1000's, the second in the upper 3000's. I'm surprised they didn't sell like hotcakes. I think the limit is 9999.

I think that as well, they're not heavily advertised and it's not like the MVA just provides the forms online. They tell you that you have to get it from the Ravens, which you can do by calling up the stadium and they will mail you the form and instructions.

My plate is in the 3890's. I did fear for my life a little bit two years ago when my cars alternator decided to drop dead on the freeway in the middle of Pittsburgh as I was driving up there for an event, but neither the tow drivers nor the repair shop messed with me or the car.

We have had issues in Western MD and on 695, it was Steeler week and a truck decked out in their colors tried to push us to the jersey wall, it would not have been an issue but it was my 16 yo first drive on the beltway and it rattled him bad. When we are in the South, we get funny looks lol
