I ruled out trading the pick because I remember a thread like this last year and we decided trading the pick wasn't allowed.
Mt. Crushmore always makes about a million posts in a minute.
You no longer make a million posts a minute. You make a million trades a minute now....

Manti Te'o, lol. My man crush. Not that we will have this pick but I would take whoever the top LT turns out to be.

I would take him or maybe Lotulelei or something. I really like Lotulelei. Manti is, well, Manti. Pretty crazy to take a MLB that high.

Jones does look good, same with Hankins. You think Hankins is better than Lotulelei?Jonathan Hankins or Jarvis Jones.

I think so, they both have ideal physical tools but Hankins plays with a much better pad level.

KO is a beast, has definitely helped solidy this O-lineSpeaking of this possibility, I wanted us to trade our 2nd round pick to the Saints last year so we could get their 2013 1st round pick. Man do I wish that happened. The downside is we never would have had Osemele, though, who has been a beast. If we had we might have had the #1 overall pick with the way the Saints look.

If we couldn't trade back.. I'd consider the idea of taking Matt Barkley, letting Flacco go in free agency to save having to give him a bigger contract than he is worth, and putting that cap space to improving the team in other areas in free agency. Not saying Flacco is a bad QB at all.. but if I couldn't trade out of the #1 spot.. I honestly think Matt Barkley would be a good choice.
I would maybe agree if we were talking about Andrew Luck - but Matt Barkley I would not be able to...interesting strategy though
If we had the number one pick I think right now I would want us to go Star, a close second for me would be Sam Montgomery followed by Mingo
