Anyone missing Heap?

Heap was a pro bowl player before injuries caught up with him. He was one of the top blocking TEs in the league.

But if you're referring to the Heap we cut prior to last year, no I don't miss him. He was injured more than he was healthy and we have rising stars in Pitta and Dickson.
...........Alot of NFL "experts" have said that Heaps health issues were a result of being on a team with Boller as a QB, due to all the shots he took going over the middle. In fact, one said that Boller shortened Heaps carrer by atleast 3 years. I guess there is some merit to that line of thought.?.?.
Yeah, I strongly believe that Heap could have had a career along the lines of Tony Gonzalez if he didn't have Boller hanging him out to dry for years. Heap, J. Lewis, and Stover were our offense for YEARS and there is only so much the human body can withstand when exposed to the sort of punishment a player will take when he is keyed up on by defenses every single week.

I don't miss Heap, because I was all for getting our young players playing time not to mention he hasn't been healthy enough to make a difference in Arizona , which makes it easier to not miss me.

Simply put I miss T.Suggs currently, and I've been in a depression "missing" J.Ogden ever since his retirement lol

I really do miss Heap. Sure he was injured and yes pitta is better but heap was a true RAVEN. Like Mason, his jersey should retire with the ravens. Honestly to this day im still shocked he isn't wearing a purple jersey. I don't here much about him since he left, im not even sure where he is :(

There it is. I'll never get rid of my Heap jersey though. Love the guy but I don't miss him. I had fun while he was good!

I'm just concerned about Ed Dickson being a no-show through 4 weeks... where'd he go?
They have hardly had him in there. They like the 3 wide sets more, which seems to be more effective than the Deisel package.

I think the original question on this topic could have been better. I think everyone loved Heap when he was here, but i don't think anyone would take him "righht now" over our current TE situation.

It's like asking do we miss CMac now that we have Webb, it's two different era's.

I think the intent was to highlight how Ozzie and company have replaced a great TE with another great talent.

Imo Heap was the perfect blend between Dickson and Pitta. He was a reliable play making TE who created mismatches all over the field, but he also worked his butt off to become a really good blocker.
