The Walking Dead Season 3 (Spoiler Alert)

321 posts in this topic

Hands down the best series on TV right now! I was kind of bummed that Daryl went off with Merle but I think they'll run into some trouble and Merle will die, or they'll get separated somehow..either was I think Daryl shows back up by the end of the season.

It's pretty interesting that they are kind showing Andrea as a potential threat to challenge the "Governor" for leadership in Woodbury. I was never a huge fan of Andrea, she's so confused and naive that she sides (and usually hooks up with) the "bad" guy.

But yeah, Rick is definitely losing it..should get pretty entertaining!

The ending is the best part by far this episode. Now I can't wait for next weeks lol

So glad Daryls back, I knew he could come back and save them once they the Governor sniped that one dude and began the attack on them... I think if the Governor wanted to kill them all he could've. Rick needs to man up and stop being such a wimp and defend his squad!

Best ending in awhile imo, I loved it. I was cheering when Daryl came back haha

That was pretty GD intense
Hopefully Merle ends up being good in the end
That's what I'm hoping too. I don't know if they'll accept him though. I think he'll have to save either Glenn or Maggies life.

I have a gut feeling Michonne dies soon. Not because of her horrible shot, but if Meryls gonna stay I think she has too

I don't know what to think. Rick and Glenn are both at fault. I guess Glenn's back to delivering pizzas. Seriously, what was he doing? Taking a siesta? Rick's almost as bad as Laurie. I was glad Daryl came back, but I'm liking it less every week. And Governor will definitely be back. He was just probing em. Andrea should be gone.

Yes it did. Ending was suiting. They went from being extremely weak to very strong with how the group is set up now. Governor will now be against a very angry crazy Rick. Its about to get real interesting.

That last scene reminded me of the A Team. After the Governor took out the convict, about 1500 rounds were fired without any hits until Maggie got the guy on the tower. LOL

Great ending, much more climactic than the last episode. I say Merle's gonna be gone soon, and Michonne is going to just go crazy and take out a bunch of Woodbury soldiers, shes overdue for a good scene in this show. Can't wait for next episode!!

Haha although it was a great scene, it felt like it took forever because of that reason. Its especially funny when you think how normally, everyones such a great shot when shooting walkers from that far away, but humans, nahhh they couldn't hit a barn.

I'm predicting something BOLD next episode........... Meryl & Michonne both die!

Michonne kills Meryl, then Daryl shoots her in the stomach with his bow.... I can see Daryl holding Meryls head while he's dying all dramatically.... I can also see Rick doing that with Michonne.

Or all this happens after the governor dies and Rick tells Michonne "thank you" while she dies in his arms that night

lol

Great point. A head shot every time there's a walking zombie (no matter the distance). But someone standing in one spot....impossible to hit! :D

Especially Rick. He had a scope, didn't he?

I still don't get how that one guy in the woods didn't kill Rick during the shootout.

I guess Lori was with him. ;)

Yeah good point on the accuracy. I love how The Governor just wastes ammo. Let me shoot in the air a bit and give away my position. He almost got killed because of it. I'm just disappointed in the entire group. I get that they gotta keep us comic readers surprised, but they changed 3 of the main characters and made them wimps. I'm thinking Rick is bipolar or something. One episode he's BA and the next he's wiggin out like a whacko from the looney bin.

I thought the governor was suddenly going to wake up and kill her.

Andrea should've been dead from the first season. Hate her character and believe her sister would've been more entertaining.

At first I was scratching my head about that too, but think about it. Zombies don't return fire. I'll reference one of the greatest zombie writers ever here (and someone I wish the Walking Dead would work with) Max Brooks. In his book World War Z they entire military gets pretty much decimated from a huge zombie herd, even though they have all of the crazy advanced weapons, helicopters, bombs ect.. this happens because they didn't really understand how to kill the zombie by destroying the brain. They were trained to fight against humans and the same tactics don't really work. Now I think they were going for the face that the same could be true the other way around. Rick's group is brilliant at killing huge groups of zombies..ie they cleared out a prison that was bursting at the seams with them. As far as the Governer's group was concerned, that seemed like an impossible task. On the other hand his people have been looting and preying on others for supplies and have been training in a military type fashion ie: they are better suited in a battle with other people.

In the end though, something interesting that I was thinking of that nobody has mentioned yet. If the Governor trys to attack the prison all out, they are going to have to get through a huge group of zombies before they can even get to Rick's group which IMO would put them at a huge disadvantage. But on the other hand if Rick is to attack Woodbury again, he's going to need more manpower, more ammo, more guns unless they can sneak in there and take the Governor with out anyone knowing.

It's pretty cool to see Meryl as part of the group, honestly I think he's going to die saving the others..the walking dead writes love to do that, make you hate someone then love them..then they die and your like nooooooo lol!

I was totally bummed when Axl took one to the dome last week :(

Yeah, she's always picking the wrong side. It's really annoying at this point. I mean, she was THE ONLY person in the group that didn't despise Shane, she a huge part of the reason Dale died..because she didn't have the guts to say that he had a good point because she was too worried that she'd make Shane mad. She was also the only person in the group who didn't see that Shane was completely psychotic over Lori. It was funny last night when the first question she asked when she re united with the group was "Where's Shane?" I literally LOL'D

Sorry for the triple post, but last night's episode was amazing. FINALLY Herschel called Rick out and told him to man up, then Carl did the same pretty much. I think that was the dose of reality that Rick needed to get his head on straight, I think he's going to be hardcore from here on out.

Andrea really needs to go. And I'm sorry, but the two guys in Tyrese's group need to go. The teenager looks like Randle 2.0. This episode was slightly better than the last few. I liked the convo between Herschel and Merle. Next episode is gonna be crazy. And I thought Andrea was a goner. Thought Gov was gonna wake up and stab her. Either way, she needs to go. I still think Axel wouldve turned out to be a creeper if he was still alive. Didn't buy his petty story.

Thats how I feel too. He lied once about his story , why couldn't he lie again? I had a terrible sinking feeling in my heart when Tyrese and his group ran into Milton and Andrea... All downhill.

I was kinda underwhelmed this week... not sure why.

Andrea is getting on my nerves and Carol is slowly losing it and becoming numb to everything. Should be very interesting this week.

Andrea is getting on Lori status. Hate her character.

I started hating her when she picked the Governor and Woodbury over Michonne. Lori was honestly getting better a couple episodes into the 3rd season.

I never hated Lori until the last few episodes of her still being alive. That's when she started to get annoying imo.

I've hated Andrea for awhile, I hope she's the next to go. Sad, even though I hate the character she's playing, I'll forever hate her in any movie I see her in because of this role lol. Might be extreme, dc
