Looks like Ray won't wait for his son to enter the league, and has plans on taking over father-hood soon. Sad news, but can't expect the man to play forever.

Baltimore won't be the same without Ray Ray.

So his son is a senior now? If he wants to be on the sidelines rooting for him when he is playing, sounds like this might be his last year.

I doubt it is though.

When Ray retires I'm going to take off work and school for a week, sit in my room with the blinds closed, cry, and watch highlights. And cry.

Here's an article on his son (who is currently a Junior): http://espn.go.com/c...iami-hurricanes

He's projected to be a DB (most likely a safety) for non other than the Hurricanes of Miami.

I try to not think about the Ravens with out Ray Lewis.
Oh I am sure technically we will be fine. But in no way, shape or form will it ever be the same.

Yes, that he is. We should get him.

He's 5 foot 9 so he might be better suited at DB like the article says. Either way he's pretty short, but I won't hold that against him considering his dad was criticized for his size and we have a franchise running back who's 5 foot 8.

Ray is gonna have to hang'em up sooner than later. we need to get use to and ready for that! he has been the face of our franchise for nearly 2 decades now and we need to be prepared to let him ride off into the sunset so that he can support his family! thanks for all of the years and memories Ray! I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!

now...get out there and finish this season and give us at least 1-2 more. LOL!!!!

If we draft him, maybe that will convince his old man to come coach for us.
