I just bought an big screen HDTV with an bose surround sound. Im looking to find movies that have good plot, acting and action from start to finish (or close to it, just REALLY action packed) ideas/recommendations? help a brother out. GO RAVENS!!

Are you looking for Blu-Ray or regular DVD expierence?

A sleeper movie that's not out on Blu-Ray (I don't think) is Equilibrium. It stars Christian Bale as a kick-****** good/bad guy. This movie never got the respect it deserved. [url="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0238380/"]http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0238380/[/url]

Also don't miss "Kung Fu Hustle" on HD.

You certainly can't go wrong with "300" , especially if you have a blu-ray player or PS3

yea i dont have a blu ray player or ps3 yet, im gonna get a ps3 once i get my tax returns in a few months, anyways keep the movie ideas coming, thanks

Hellboy II was pretty cool, if your into those types of movies. I also liked all the Bourne movies by Matt Damon, good plot, action and all of that.

LOVED the Jason Bourne movies.

The Bourne Ultimatum was the first DVD I had bought in a LONG time. And I don't exactly have an extensive DVD collection -- THAT'S how good the movie was, in my opinion.

Definitely get that PS3, though. It's a good investment, not just as a gaming console, but as an entertainment machine in general.

dude with Bose and an HDTV, the only way to compliment that is with Blu ray. wait to get your playstation. Some movies don't look as good as others do in Blu-ray, like Spiderman 3 dont look as good as pirates of carribean, imo. but either way, the viewing experience is phenominal.

Yeah, I am definitely going to get a PS3, its just a matter of time. I am waiting on my Christmas bonus or tax return. I was playing the new Socom over at my friends place, and I've played Socom since it first came out on PS2, But on PS3 its AMAZING.

I've had my t.v. and surround sound for almost a month now, I got it just in time to watch the Colts tear us apart. As for the past 3 weeks, it's been a glorious for Raven's football!

I've never been a fan of the Bourne movies, but I am going to have to check out the Bourne Ultimatum, I have heard several good things about the movie.

Anyhow, keep the movie ideas coming fellas, and of course...GO RAVENS!!

It's an older movie you've probably seen but as far as awesome action movies to watch in HD or blu-ray you can't go wrong with Face/Off.

Don't worry, you're not alone, I LOVED Face/Off!

I can't believe I forgot about that movie...it's definitely in my top 5 of favorite action movies (if I can even remember the rest of my top 5...)

Yea I was always a fan of Face/Off too. It got a 4 out of 5 stars in my book.
