Who gets signed by the Jets?

20 posts in this topic

Terrell Owens
Plaxico Burress
Chad Johnson

With Holmes injured (from what seems like something that could sideline him indefinitely) and their immense struggles, who do they grab as that last ditch effort to help their fledgling offense and that horrid QB?

My guess is TO is a Jet within the next two weeks! Let the circus that is the NY Jets continue. We're all loving the show!

haha T.O. makes the most sense.

I'd like to see Ocho come there first, then listen to Ocho lobbying to bring T.O. there.

Batman and robin! lol

On a serious note, my guess is T.O. as well.

You know what I find real odd. Look at what has happened to the Jets. Now they are facing possible QB issues amidst the CB and WR issues. Makes you wonder...

Well, let's see. They've already signed Berry, the guy who was cut from Detroit after he was arrested twice this summer as a CB. They signed a FB today, Hillard I believe and cut a WR to do so. Yeah, T.O. or Ocho would make the circus complete.

I'd go with TO - his personality seems to match best with what Rex likes over there. They already did the Plaxico thing, and I really think Chad is done. Of course, with the way Rex likes sniping former Ravens, maybe they could sign D-Will or James Hardy.

Troy Smith!

Yeah, I heard he can do it all. WR, QB, RB, and DB as well as a little bit of linebacker. Let me explain.

We all know he can run the ball but not as well as a Tyrod Taylor but he can make plays with his feet, so I will skip that.

First, he will throw the ball. It will bounce off of another player in his direction and he hopefully catches it, thus making him a WR. Now hear me out because this gets tricky. If for some reason he throws an INT (probable), he turns into a DB and needs to make the tackle in the secondary to prevent the TD. Let's hope he is good at preventing YAC, for the Jets' sake.

Now that's what I call a Heisman trophy winner! We had better be careful, though. Rex Ryan might raid our practice squad for starters, lol.

A bust.

I read they're going to be starting Chaz Schilens and Jeremy Kerley at WR on Monday night.

Kerley has talent but that's just pathetic.
