Yeah man! The last bumper was nice and tough no doubt but it was 140lbs w/o the winch, close to 185 with syn. winch rope. The new bumper is about 75 lbs and with winch 120 or so. thats a big savings . My suspension thanks me. All that weight on the nose isn't ideal.

I'm going to be adding some gussets to the corners and such. It's not all the way done but its pretty good right now! I'm also swapping to the 2010+ front grill which will close the gap just below my current grill nicely. Ince thats done, some filler plate for the top rails to finish her off. It'll be awhile for that though.

i'd love to see a dyno run proving Stillen's claim of 17 HP from an intake on a stock V6 already making 332 HP. So if ya happen to take it out on a dyno at any point, be sure to share on here.

My sister just wrecked my 335i today. Looks like I'm going to total it. Not a happy camper right now. I'm driving around in my 1993 740iL that is in the middle of being gutted. Dont even have the exhaust back on yet, I ordered an exhaust yesterday and pulled off the stock exhaust today so all I have to do is bolt on the new one when it arrives. Now I'm driving around like one of those dooshes that hang out at gas station parking lots: loud *** exhaust, Taco Bell wrappers on the floor, a muffler attached with coat hangers and tape...all I need is a wing and spray paint the hood, and I'll be ready to pick up some hunnies at Sheetz!

Dude, I feel your pain!!! Sucks! I assume your sis is alright?

Just listed the CJ for sale (just a feeler to see what kind of nibbles I can get). I have an entire build sheet done on a 4 dr Wrangler (KJ) that I'd like to build next. I just can't stop myself! What is wrong with me (all of us)?

Thank you for asking, but she wont be alright when I see her tomorrow. lol ( ? -- not sure yet if I am joking or not ).

I'd love a CJ, but that beast wont work as my DD or I'd be PM'ing you right now.

Was reminiscing about my 300ZX; here's a couple pics I have of it.

The day I picked it up:

just had to stop to take a pic on the way home:

Well, since we're reminiscing, here is my 2000 Wrangler back in 2001.

It was a 2000 Wrangler Sport with an 8" Skyjacker Longarm Lift, 2" coil spacers (10" lift total) 39" Swamper SX's, Dana 44 Axles, 4.88 gears, Detroit Lockers, PS2 with a flip down monitor on the hard top, soft and hard top/doors and used to have a Warn 8274 winch!

Started out as a stock (obviously) black on black Wrangler and then grew to this and was painted Honda blue electron pearl

This thing was my BABY, but sold it in 2003 to buy my first house....oops!

There are pictures of a picture, so they're not the best clarity...

yea lol im a little sketchy on exactly how much it increases but for now i can only go off of what it apparently says..... 17.5 HP gains..... so 349.5 overall lol but i also bought it because apparently is increases your mpg by 2-3 miles, getting 23-24 mpg right now city.

go all out man and get yourself a nismo! (your name speaks for itself! haha) 350 hp stock. v6 engine. everytyhing.

i do plan on taking it to the track and seeing what it runs.... i also plan on going to my dealership and buying a nismo catback exhaust system ...further increasing the overall HP of the car ( from what car nuts have told me) betters the air flow throughout the car thus resulting in overall HP gains.

yeah, not a big deal, since if you're going to mod the car that's one of the first mods you should make anyway. It's just that that motor already is a beast; there's not much power left to pull out of it without going FI.

i'd love to grab a Nismo, but unfortunately (for me lol) that's outta my budget for a play car. Besides, I actually prefer the older Z32 like the one above; I actually carried a pic of a Z32 in my wallet for 10 years. Was my dream car...ended up throwing twin turbos in it.

Since then I've become obssessed with BMW's. May sound strange but the reason I bought the 335i is because it reminded me so much of the Z...the power delivery and way it handled felt very familiar; but with a modern interior.,,,,

haha same here, wanted the nismo, but ut started 40 grand,...and the sport and touring package was like 36 grand... so i settled for the base model... 32 grand, negoiated a grand off the price, and put down 12,000 for it

hmmmm could it be that you actually love the Z more? hincethe reason why you bought that car for the familiarity haha ;)

i hope that 370z is Manual.

why do you say that?

it being an automatic or regular manuel, doesnt have any effect as to power of the car, 332 hp, still the same.

mine? (thus being the only one on the lot) its an automatic 7 speed, with Paddle or Slap shifters. which means say your going on the highway in auto... and you want to go manuel.... just flip the shift knob over and your now in manuel, and being in manuel mode, means this car can reach that 7th gear.. regular manuels only go 1 to 6 gear. Mine goes to 7th. and you can either up shift with the paddle shifters ORRR you can shift just like a regular manuel with the knob...just minus the clutch.also say your in 7th gear driving on the highway.... and all the sudden you need to stop but you dont have time to..... The car compensates for you not shifting and shifts to the lower gears for you. regular manuels will not.

its a push start car also. you just have to have the key fob on you near the car and hold your foot on the brake and hit the start button at the same time for the engine to fire up (safety mechanicism for children) just in case a child hops in my car and sees the start engine button and presses it, all that would turn on would be the battery, not the engine. in order for you to turn the engine on, you have to hold in the brake and hit the start button.

so overall...... from personal oppinion and what i just stated... the automatic Z is better than the manuel.

Nice rides!

Just raised the truck 1.25 in the front and dropped my back in the driveway.. lol. Twisted it pretty darn good... Ohh year. I think I broke my pinky too. Brake caliper was resting on the upper arm, my hand was on the lower control arm... The caliper falls off the upper and smashed my hand. Sandwhiching it between the loaded caliper and the lower control arm.

But, ITS DONE and my Coil-overs are better then ever!

I, personally, am not a fan of Rancho. I would go BDS or Procomp.
