Complete 5 minute hack job in photoshop, but should I go with black wheels?

BMW.jpg

Yuck. Darkest I'd go on that car is maybe gun metal.

But a better idea would be to grab some used stock ///M3 rims (from the E46 M3)

I like these too:

Yeah, I was in between on the black wheels, but you two make 5 for NO....so, nope!

Hey if you like them, that's all that matters. But black wheels would only work on that car if you were making it a track car (or at least look like one).

I've found through trial and error that very, very few aftermarket wheels look good on BMWs...you can never go wrong with M-Pars if you go aftermarket. But personally, and this may sound crazy, but I think the factory wheels that BMW makes for their //M cars and 7 series can't be beat.

I like it. Its my 1st car so I went with the cheapest new one. It gets about 33 mpg which is great.

I would be painting the factory wheels, if anything. Who knows....What are the specs and plans for your 3?

Wow, if you're going to get a new car for a first car, you definitely made a good choice!

Its a '94 325i; bone stock...going to paint it myself, but not going to go too crazy with modding it. Just going to install a set of coilovers, a Conforti chip (good for +22 HP and 19 ft-lb on a stock motor), pulleys, a set of sticky Michelins and a shorter rear end. Maybe a muffler (just for sound; you'll only get 2-4 HP from a muffler upgrade on these cars and save some weight) too.

I was seriously considering parting out my 740iL and dropping that motor/tranny into the 3, but I love that car too much! BMWs to me are what CJs are to you! I'm not really a brand [profanity deleted], but I really cant see myself ever getting another kind of car...have the 7 for daily driving/family, another 7 just for parts, and now the 3 will be a fun toy car.

Hey, I here ya. Wife has an X3 (downsized from the 5 when I got the Suburban) and I've owned a 745i, 330ci and now the 328ic. I did just list the red CJ5 after doing minor work to it. Will post likely double my money and then can mod the 3. I am going to look into Conforti since you mentioned it. Have already installed HID headlights, new fogs, fixed and synched the top, hunted down the radio code, fixed the climate control module and seat covers (glove tight covers) will be here next week.

Thanks. There is nothing fancy about it but thats fine. The stereo is good and it is stick shift which makes it fun to drive.

My sister wants 2,000 for her 2005 Black Mustang. Not a GT, but still a fast, great looking car. I turn 21 next month.. can't wait to take that baby to the bar!
