Hate to say it, because thats the game I'd want, but if I were a betting man, I'd say that a rare thing is going to happen this year -- I think we are going to see a rematch of last year's AFCCG.

Except we are at home and Gotskowski blows it for them why Lloyd drops it in the endzone.

It could be a possibility - it seems like all of the "shocker Superbowl teams" - Giants, Cardinals, Packers, Panthers, might even throw in the Bucs since they came off a miserable season the year before, come out of the NFC. AFC it usually turns out that favorites play in the Superbowl. Last year us and the Patriots, the year before Steelers over Jets, before that Colts over Jets, etc.

I agree, their front seven gets after the passer and stops the run. To me its the best in football this year. Their secondary isn't all that special, but they get the job done. I'm just saying if we are lucky to beat them this year, I will be really surprised.

Durability issues aside they still managed to sneak out a playoff win against Cincy and did give us an issue with to Yates at qb.

I'd have to ask. Are you really thinking they won't be a threat or just hoping we won't have to face them?

It is pretty much a certainty they are taking that division so they will be a contender which makes them a threat but how much of one is too soon to say. There is a lot of football left to play. It is really the last quarter of football to be discussing this not the first.

I buy that right now they are one of the most dangerous teams in football but for all I know they could be 4th seed by the end of the season. You just never know.

lol I might be a negative at times, but I speak the truth. I called the secondary overrated in the preseason, and through the first four games they kinda have been overrated by everyone. I don't hear anyone saying that I'm right about that. I was just giving the texans respect, and my real outlook in a game if we were to meet. I'm a big ravens fan and keep up with them a lot, but I guess people don't like my opinions.

That's it Steve Bartman.....nah just kidding. I think this is viable question and a huge concern going into that game. I still think we can compete and it is a close game going either way. As for the AFC championship -- I could see us both in the game.

LOL too funny, hopefully everyone doesn't look at me as Steve Bartman.

I think you're right. The Patriots and Ravens have looked to be the most dominant teams in the AFC. If both teams can figure it out defensively, they will be in the AFC championship again.

I hope to God it doesn't come down to that! I'd love for them to feel the heartbreak that we did, but I don't want to go through the stress of relying on them to make mistakes.

The Texans are good, but they haven't been tested all year yet. They really haven't been challenge by a good team. When we play them that will be a true challenge for them and the best team will win. I just hope we win the next two games so when we beat them we will be the first team to do so and our record would be the same at 6-1 with us having the tie breaker.
