Friends over my time here on the boards i have very negative and would usauly find fault in everything for that i am very sorry. Watching the game last night taught me one thing. A win is a win. It will do no one any good if i point out just the negatives. After the 1st half i loosened up and thought, why not just enjoy the team and the game and stop getting so excited and in a uproar. I was a guy who would holler at the TV like that helped at all. I enjoyed the game. Watching the plays develop, watched Smith go down field and even enjoyed the defense.

ratedr, is that you? Just kidding. Bottom line, it's just a game and as much as we would enjoy a victory similar to Wk 1 of the Steelers last year or Wk 1 of the Bengals this year, it's just not gonna always happen that way.
Sometimes we need to see these close wins to show the true heart and mettle of the team and organization. An ugly win beats a pretty loss EVERY day of the year.

Last night in our new seats I left a huge "F-Bomb Cary Williams!" explode across our section when the Browns got the big pass play over his shoulder. Everyone turned around and looked at me.
At that point I realized...Yeah, I'm THAT guy.
A little more control and humility would be good for all.

It's really weird.. I was just explaining the same exact thing to my wife the other night how playing with Raven players affect's me watching Raven games ESPECIALLY when they are playing another team ie. Eagles and McCoy etc..Fantasy football definitely affects how I wacth games. It sucks and it interfers with whats really important for me. Ravens still come first though, no question. But one cannot simply stop playing fantasy football. Also I went against Joe and Torrey last night, didn't even care when he caught that touchdown lol. Rice could of ran it in though instead of Joe.
Very weird when you're in a bar wearing a Ravens jersey screaming for McCoy to get the TD...

I stopped playing that two years ago, because it I was getting very obsessed and way too competitive with it and it was taking up so much of my time. My life now is a lot more productive without it.If you really want to "just" enjoy the games, either quit fantasy football or at least avoid drafting Ravens players. Once that is off your mind, you no longer care who gets how many yards and all that matters is winning.

I've never played; seems like a waste of time.
