Yeah, the failed drug test killed his draft stock. It would've been awesome to see us move up in the third to grab him.

He probably hasn't been doing enough in practice to warrant being activated. Outside of a couple of a few practices that got some ink, he was quiet during camp and throughout the pre-season as well.

I'll be surprised if he does anything noteworthy this year.

Unless he turns it on at some point, there is 0% chance he with the team next year. What a waste of a roster spot

It could be Kindle, Bryan Hall, DeAngelo Tyson, or Billy Bajema. The first 3 still have practice squad eligibility, so I'll assume it's one of those 3.

That sucks for everyone involved with Sergio. I was just watching some of his highlights, and he was an incredible athlete. Exactly what we needed as a pass rusher, now I think the team has finally gave up hope on him (although they won't say it publicly).

Kruger was in the backfield pretty consistently in the second half vs. KC, dunno if that was scheme vs. motivation but either way, it was a sight to behold. I think as more players get comfortable with Pees scheme we will start to see some improvement

I agree with you on McPhee, Jones and Cody looking heavy. I'm glad that Ngata went back up in weight because last year when he lost weight and played around 325 he had nagging injuries most of the season, Ngata has always had unique speed, agility etc for a 340 lb guy. Kemo well I've never been real big on him so I just re-watch games before I begin to critique him.

Sadly, it seems like the only noteworthy thing Kindle may or may not do this year Is Get Released! On the one hand, it would be surprising if he remains on the team the entire season after not doing anything in preseason and still not being able to play while Suggs is out and the pass rush is anemic, while the Flip side is he could get cut when Suggs returns for the roster spot.

I've seen the debate on here about if he deserves to play, but I feel like with the pass rush struggles, letting Kindle get 10-15 defensive snaps on strictly passing situations to rush can't hurt, After seeing Cary Williams catch INTs in back-to-back games I think anything can happen. At this point I'm envisioning Kindle similar to Aaron Maybin last year when he collect a few sacks when the Jets gave him a chance, he could also just do nothing like V.Gholston lol

Do you see Ngata as dominant as he was in the past? Honestly, he seems like the strength is there but the burst off the line isn't consistent.

The only problem I see from Ngata is when he shoots the wrong gap trying to make a play in the backfield, I've seen Kemoeatu do the same thing at times, from the NT position on short yardage of all places.

I can vouch for this. There is nothing I hate more than recklessly aggressive defensive line play. Fundamentals please!!! I hate when defensive linemen shoot the wrong gap and miss the tackle.

He's a rookie and will get better with time. Watch the 2011 Alabama vs. Arkansas game and the 2011 BCSNCG game. Upshaw really shined in both of those game and abused the hell out of Tyler Wilson.

I love Upshaw and I think he's played great so far. But, how he played in college is of no significance now. I don't care how he played in the 2011 BCSNCG game. We all know he dominated at the collegiate level. We have seen his ability. Right now, I care how he plays in NFL games.

Of course he will get better as learns how to study film with Suggs, and Ray, I was simply saying I had high expectations because I was impressed with him already. And there is no need for me to go and watch any college footage because college o-lineman are often abused by pass rushers of all levels ( think of how Courtney Brown or Vernon Gholston were in college and how they turned out in the Pros) I'm not saying that upshaw will play like them, I'm just saying the lineman that are within those games aren't the same caliber he is facing now if anything watching footage like that would only depress me to see him plowing over tackles, FB, etc make feel like where is that guy now. He is playing well thus far, but if I'm going to watch game footage of him I'll just go to the DVR and replay one of the games I recorded with Sunday Ticket. (

While battling a shoulder injury and a hamstring injury, Ngata gets another sack. Yes, he is dominating.
