A crew is being assembled to work Thursday night’s game between the Browns and Ravens. Then, on Friday, the officials will travel to Dallas to retrieve their equipment and receive their game assignments for Sunday and Monday, with the same crews working together as last year.

If a tree falls down in the woods and no one is around to hear it, do the Steelers still suck?

So, what happens when the regular officials make a controversial call? or miss a pass interference call?

Just asking.

We call for the replacement refs and claim that they were better anyway.

I'm excited, especially since they're back for the Browns/Ravens game. Let's be honest, even if the regular refs do make mistakes, at least they won't come in bunches, and at least they're aware of the rules and are aware of team names.

The replacement refs were actually getting to the point of being entertaining. If I was going to stop watching football cause the games were being screwed up, I'd still watch for the comedic factor.

I'm going to surely miss those clowns with their big red noses and floppy shoes.

I think as one last penalty for the bounty business, the replacement refs should be kept on for all Saints games for the remainder of the season.

They'll definitely be rusty but the product will be much improved. I doubt the game will take 5 hours either!

I wouldn't go THAT far. Winter is still the worst of the worst.

So will Green Bay, but in light of this news the Seahawks were none too happy about this deal.
