yea, were bottom 1/4 league on time of possession as well. We've had too many third and longs
Why is that? I wouldn't guess penalties because you seem to always be a disciplined team, of course with the replacements anything is possible.

WOW. That explains the dip in conversions. That is correctable though. I wish I could see more of your games. I might get a rewind subscription.

Is that including the fact that we played one more game?

It's not that surprising though considering we've played several Prime Time games which means dark jerseys, and teams wearing dark jerseys tend to get called more for holding.
yea, but that's why I included the yardage, we are 5 holds in the lead if you think about it. That's pretty bad.

As of right now i do think he is the best in the AFC. Given the fact that he is under pressure a lot of the time and he finally is getting to look at all of his reads in progression which impresses me so much. He has grown leaps and bound in the last 2 years. I do not think there is a pass he cannot make or the patience to make it. If he had a solid O'line he would tear defenses apart surgically. His touch on throws is getting a lot better. I remember last year where he over threw atleast 30% of his deep passes. He is getting better at a great tempo and i am so proud of him.

Geez...
Too many false starts, OPI, holding, etc.
Offensive line has been very mediocre so far, having bright spots only in the Bengals game... It's kind've sad, really.

As far as Thursday night is concerned, the Ravens continually moved the ball. I would argue that it was the penalties that cost the Ravens the most during offense. They just kept going backwards.

Wat.

They've been spectacular outside of last night. No idea what games you're watching.
what have I been arguing the past few posts. We have given up the most pen yardage on offense. Your not arguing anything here, your agreeing

Okay I will argue with my choice of words to argue (wrong word) and actually agree with you.
im going to try and see if I can get a breakdown of the penaltys, and by whom to see what the cause of it is, but I'd say most of it is holding or false starts

They were pretty bad in the second half of the Philly game and gave us no room to run against New England. They haven't been that great.

Ray Rice averaged 5.1 yards a carry and gained 101 yards against New England. What game were you watching?

We only gave up 2 sacks to Philly. They lead the league in sacks last year. I'll take it.

Ray's averaged 5 yards a carry and almost 80 yards a game. Joe has been sacked 9 times in 4 games, but wasn't sacked by NE. Philly, Cincy, and Cleveland are full of talented defensive linemen. A few sacks were even on blitzes.

They have been pretty good so far. Really don't know what you've been watching.
Right, I got the NE and Cleveland games mixed up, though that 4th down was certainly terrible. But Philly was getting home with 4 man rushes and though Joe wasn't sacked a lot, he was pressured a lot. And the O-line failed to produce anything in the run game all second half. I haven't seen a clean pocket for Joe that often. I didn't say they were bad but I think spectacular is quite the stretch.

When they start to gel and we gain more chemistry through the season we can expect their performance to improve. Once KO and Harewood develop more we could have an elite line. Oher has been solid. Birk is truly the weakest link. I hope Gino can get up to speed soon.
