With our current team, who would you want on the field at the end of a road game to win the game?

Ravens D, up by 6 with 2:00 min left from the opponents 20 yard line.

Ravens O, down by 6 with 2:00 min left from our 20 yard line.

The offense is 1-1 in this scenario against the Eagles and Pats (even though this was at home).

If its a six point difference, I'll still take the Defense (though I really want to say offense). Its tougher to score when you/opponent know that you are going to pass.

If its a FG, I'm going with the offense.

I'll take the defense and a lead. You never said who were playing so I'll assume it's Brandon Weeden and the Browns.

Wow, hard question. Joe is inconsistent, but he's clutch when needed most of the time.
Up until this year I would choose the defense without thinking, but after seeing what Pees did to our defense and seeing Cary being exploited by EVERYONE, I'll choose the offense. I mean, COME ON, past 3 games, EVERYONE is taking advantage of the off coverage for screens \ comebacks, and the huge big play Ed and Cary give. We can't count on the defense any more.

Right now?

Our defense is ranked 27th (even if it was against ProBowl QB talent).
Our offense is ranked 4th (11th Rushing and 3rd Passing)

I'd probably take the offense. Joe was more often clutch than unreliable in last minute drills.

Well currently Flacco has had 8 GWD in the last 3 seasons including the one yesterday, and should have had the GW pass in the Philadelphia game. He is playing at the highest level I've ever seen him. If it's body of work no question it's the defense, but if we're talking about the first 3 games of the season, IDK how you CAN'T take Flacco and the offense over a defense that just let Michael Vick march down the field on them last week and then turned around and gave up 400 yards of offense to the Patriots including letting 2 receivers get over 100 yards.

The defense is bad, but the offense is still hampered by Cam Cameron's play calling. I say it's a push.

GREAT question !!!!

Right now I would say offense.
Realizing that this is the first time in Ravens history I can say that with a straight face.

Feels pretty good :)

Until we wash our hands of Pees and Cary and Sizzle returns I'll say offense for 3, defense for 6.

Ed? Ed saved two touchdowns and a first down. While I've been hard on him, he's not the problem.
Trash Pees and Cary all you want, but not Ed.

Right now; our offense has a better chance against most teams. While our defense, probably needs lesser matchups to be able to pull this off.

However - if we had a DC not named Pees or Mattison back there, I'd take the D in a heartbeat.

I'll take the lead and hope Pees lets them play very aggressive.

2010-Present? Offense

We have a Joe Flacco.

offense
it's too easy to get 10 yards on 4 downs considering it's always 4down territory

It was very easy against the Eagles.

Its much tougher than you think. The defense is usually playing prevent which makes it seem like its easy to move the ball. But when you start getting closer to the endzone its tough. The defense knows you are going to pass. So the defensive play calling is more direct. The pass rushers can pin their ears back and attack without worrying about the run.
