She comes off as just a crazy female Pats "fan" (a.k.a. "I only love the QB because he wins and is famous") whose dedication to rooting for her celebrity crush makes her oblivious to the rest of the world. I've met those before. She doesn't understand what she's saying, she only knows it's about a man lined up opposite of hers so it's fair game.

I had it the same way. I play football with a guy who's a Pats fan (also went to elementary school with him) and we were texting about the game last night and both of us were just appalled at the officiating on both sides. Oher mugged Ninkovich on Rice's big play in the 4th, Llyod literally shoved Williams out of the way on one pass, Pitta's holding call was ticky tacky, and how Mankins didn't get flagged once all game was preposterous, he was a total dirtbag all game long while attempting to be a tough guy.

Ridiculous to even think we got the good end of the officiating in that game.

Very ungood for her... people have now figured out where she works (JHU if anyone is interested) and if you search her on Twitter, there's several check-ins from the same apartment complex on her account. So, theoretically, people now know where she lives too.

What's even more sad is that she probably signs her name as "Katie Brady" a million times in a notebook and settles for a [profanity deleted] Boston guy who treats her like crap because he "likes Tom too". Yeah, she's that pathetic.

Anybody who knows how to be funny, knows the line and when not to cross it. Most the time when comedians or "funny" people say 'too soon', its to add to the joke and its really not 'too soon'.

In her case. It was too soon. She thinks she's being funny, but in reality she is just dumb (and not funny at all). And just like many twitter users find out. When they say something stupid and hateful, they face the onslaught.

Listen. I've cracked a too soon joke about a celebrity or something when it was too soon. But you do it privately to one person that will get it and you laugh because it's inappropriate.

Exactly. Because most people who know how to be funny knows their audience, whether it be 1 person or national TV. There is nothing wrong with a 'too soon' joke if you believe the majority of the audience will get it. But like you said, she clearly is too stupid to understand.
