Second, Ray Rice had 101 yards rushing with a TD. That's pretty darn good against NE's front 4.
Third, Bernard Pierce had some quality touches and was actually able to get a couple of first downs.
Fourth, they ran the ball in response to the defense that was shown. If Joe read a cover 2 they ran the ball. If they stacked the box they aired it out....
Joe took advantage of the single coverage when they cheated a safety up to the LOS because you WANT to see those one on one matchups on your wide outs. It's common sense...

They share pretty nice stats. Good offense! The fact that Joe threw for almost 400 yds while Rice had over 100 yds on the ground is pretty astonishing

i'm still against Cam, but at least we looked like our old selves for a most of this game. we ran to set up the play action. and then later, when we need to score quick, it was Joe doing his thing like in Pittsburgh last year.if i can drive a semi-truck thru the running lanes that our O-line are opening up, why the ravens aren't running a 5'8" rolling ball thru those lanes, i mean i know we won, but for god sake its so frustrating when we went 3 and out in a pass happy series, at least run a balanced attack CAM, take what the defense gives u.
again, i still see some boneheadedness from Cam, and positive rep'd the OP
