1. We have to blitz to generate pressure on the QB. Pees need's to have more movement going on before the snap of the ball or have everyone stacked at the line just to make things harder for the QB to pre-read.

2. We need to keep a good balance of run to pass. I still say our strength lies in being a run first team . Like Ray Rice said at the end of the interview..... you can run with success against the Cover 2 schemes which seems to be our weakness and the reason why it's our weakness is b/c we get away from the run basically going against the grain. Also, on a lot of 3rd and shorts, don't always have Flacco in the Shotgun, put him under center where the threat of running the ball is more of a threat. Also, just run the ball right at the D and stop with the guards pulling on 3rd and short situations.

This is probably a good spot to praise Upshaw. I thought he played incredibly well. He's not 100% there yet, but I'll take the improvement he's showed so far. Glad the game is finally coming to him.

1. Dont rely on Pierce to punch a hole on 4th & 1.

2. Dont waste red flags early.

3. Mix in the run game. We are a RUN team

4. Pass rush is overtly sloppy. All pass through the O-line, but never finish.

5. Cary Williams project is over.

6. Dean Pees/Cam Cameron just dont get it. Find replacement next year.

I've been defending Cary, but he got abused tonight, and against the Eagles. Jimmy looks like he should be number 2. But the main culprit for getting torched by Brady was the lack of pass rush. Brady had ALL NIGHT to throw the ball on most of those plays. We keep having to blitz to get pressure. We haven't seen McPhee dominate like he did last season. That must pick up.

It's sort of hard to attack Cary with Brady being in a comfort zone for majority of the game and having 5 secs to throw the ball with huge passing lanes. With that being said, Jimmy will very well take over the #2 position if need be ( I don't think he's ready either ).

1. I agree with this, although I think the bigger issue is going for the 4th and 1 in that situation.

2. What wasted red flag? The one from the Boldin first down? That was a great challenge, we needed that first down badly and the ref gave him a bad spot.

3.Agree with the first part but I do believe we are a Balanced team not just a run heavy team.

4.Agreed.

5. We definitely agree on this....100 percent!

6. No argument there although I am not all the way done with Pees, as you are but I dont think many around here will argue with you about cameron needs to go lol :).

Was a heck of a game to watch and nice to see our O stepping up!

I bet Brady is poopy pants about getting outplayed by Joe Flacco. He probably has no respect for Joe at all. But he should. That's the 2nd time it's happened in a year.

I don't know! I am sure he has at least some respect for Flacco just because he has outplayed him the last two times. Either way I am completely happy with our QB :).

Flacco outplayed Brady once again.

Upshaw looked great!

We really, really miss Suggs. Can't get pressure without blitz.

New respect for Torrey.

Cary looked like Frank Walker.

Offense looked great after 1st quarter.

Refs need to go. A lot of horrible calls for both teams.

O-line looked solid, Oher had a really good game, Yanda not so much but he gets pass.

Tucker is clutch, even though it was scary close to missing.

Reed hit hard tonight! More so than I can ever remember.

100% on the reed part.

It isnt tuckers fault man. It was the snapper.. He placed the ball vertically, hence the reason ball going right. He need to work on that :)

When he blew up that reverse I became a believer in Upshaw. He showed burst and great awareness.

The one thing that is driving me crazy is how many 3rd down pass completions were short of the first down yardage needed. Why are we cutting our routes so short ?

The secondary was sitting on our receivers. Joe was throwing to who was open and they were TIGHT widows.

Yea, thats why running the ball is so important, because our offensive route concepts aren't creative like some other offenses. We rely on winning 1on1 matchups instead of attacking certain matchups, ie Welker vs our LBs.

So for the Ravens, running the ball forces team to focus on stopping Ray, and it creates movement in the secondary for Jones and Smith to exploit deep. Boldin and Pitta working the middle and Ray with space on dumpoffs

Having a strong running game shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing for Flacco. That balance is what will separate teams like the Ravens and Texans from teams who live and die by the pass.

Hightower and Chandler Jones are overrated just as I thought, Upshaw played pretty decent, and Torrey Smith down right destroyed them; I've been saying it since week 1 we need to get the ball in his hands as much as we do Rice's.

Exactly! This drove me nuts! I understand it's a "passing league" now but I really think we could have controlled the tempo of this game (and the Philly game also) better running the ball.

McClain has received the starts but I was impressed with Ellerbe for a consecutive week.
