Browns vs. Ravens!

213 posts in this topic

It will be nice to not have to play a team filled with superstars for once. Not to underestimate the Browns, but we've had some tough games already. Here's to going 3-1!

I want us to win all of our games (duh!), but this one especially. After smoking the Bengals and then losing to Philly, I don't want to beat the Pats only to lose to the Brownies.

When I looked at our schedule at the beginning of the year, I thought there were some nice breaks in it... but with the way the league is turning out this year -- I don't see a period of rest anywhere. We definitely have one of the toughest, if not the toughest, schedules this year.

Big time letdown game, potentially. Browns have been improving week to week. But there's no reason we shouldn't win this, handily.

Side note: So after this Thursday's game, we'll have played 3/4 games at home, only one on the road. Schedule-makers weren't nice!

Trent Richardson has looked well, these last 2 weeks the defense needs to stop him early and often.... Rookie QBs usually don't play well against the Ravens Defense, so I'm hoping we can get a few INTs.

On a short week following an emotional high-profile game we can't afford to overlook a Division rival at home no matter how easy the game appears... The browns have played tough scrappy ball lead by there defense....

My worry is that Cleveland has shown some fight all season long and their Defense is not to be taken lightly.

We will never overlook anyone again. Lose? Yes. Overlook? No.

We better not, quintessential trap game. Still taking us in a blowout tho. Lol

Yeah and look at the 49ers who fell to the Vikings in a trap game.

Well, seeing how the Buffalo Bills managed to keep Trent Richardson to just 12 carries for 27 yards, today, and 6 catches for 24 yards, the gameplan is very simple: Stop Richardson and the game becomes an easy win.

Seriously! Nothing more, nothing less. No need to over-think things against the (new) Cleveland Browns. Keep things straightforward, pick-up the easy win, and enjoy the extended break.

I'm just happy we're facing a team on a short week at home. The Browns lose significant time having to travel and I'm glad our guys don't have to deal with that after such an emotional win under the bright lights of SNF.

Murder these clowns. Hate their city. Hate their fans. Hate their team. All stemming from the death of a great man.

With Haden out, Flacco and company offense should romp. On the other side, their offense isn't nearly explosive enough to give the D trouble. I'm expecting a big win.

I agree, i think even with Haden we would have had success. Ray Rice has been a terror for the Browns and coming off a short week, i see no reason why Rice and Peirce shouldnt get at least 30-35 carries in this game.

Come out using the uptempo offense early and get out to a 2 or 3 score lead, then allow the D to pen their ears back like the Cincy game. If we get defense locked in on Ray Rice, the rest of our offense becomes nearly unstoppable.

Jocaby and Torrey both should have huge games again because of the playaction. The Ravens were willing to stay patient with the Pats D and just pick their spots, but i see us attacking downfield early and often vs the Browns. Get up early and ride the momentum.

Hopefully, this is the game the D will actually let their play match their swagger. Our D does a lot of pushing, shoving, and talking, but they aren't dominating like years past. We need a game were we can hold a team to under 200 total yard and 10 points or less. With the Browns, Cheifs and Cowboys coming up, we should be able to string togeter a few strong defensive performances

I'd be worried if this was in Cleveland just because we always seem to play poorly in Cleveland in a night game... we should trounce them at home. I can see a 24-6 kind of victory.

On a short week, I'll take any W. Obviously, I expect a blowout (I mean it's the Browns, come on!) but I just want us to leave Thursday's game with a 3-1 record.

our Ravens need to rest and heal up for Thursday nights game! we need to tighten up our defense because we pretty much had a non-existent pass rush (until we really needed it last in the game) that is on game film for all our opponents to see. IF, we sleep on the browns (0-3) we will lose! IF, we get after them knowing that we can stay atop of the AFC North...we'll win!

Ravens 50
Browns 3
Now that's ridiculous. Don't underestimate the Browns. 3 points is not enough.

Ravens. 50
Browns. 6

Yeah there is no need to over think things and this is a new season, so I don't want to see any upset losses to sub-500 teams because the team is still partially celebrating a big win on short week......

Bills jumped out to quick 14-0 lead but it still a tough type of game.....

The Brownies have nothing. IMO they are the worst team in Football right now.

HOWEVER, it's a division game and they always seem to be "up" when they play us.

Here's how the series has gone since the start of the Harbaugh/Flacco era

2008- Week 3 28-10 Ravens
Week 9 37-27 Ravens

2009 Week 3 34-3 Ravens
Week 10 16-0 Ravens

2010 Week 3 24-17 Ravens
Week 16 20-10 Ravens

2011 Week 13 24-10 Ravens
Week 16 20-14 Ravens

5 of the 8 games have been decided by 10 or more points.
Only one game has been decided by less than a thouchdown.

Ravens since 2008 are 8-0 vs Cleveland
